I have a question, will the extra long barrel be functional? What I mean is will there be enough air to push the dart through without losing power?
Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. I've done a few cosmetic barrels on mavs and that's been a problem in the past.
If you aren't making a serious boost in power, make sure you have plenty of clearance.

In the future it would be best not to post until you have some actual progress to show.Im planing on getting all this within a month.

I actually detest this attitude. As annoying as concept threads are, it's good to sum up human knowledge in order to foresee any problems that might come up. Especially problems that are difficult to predict unless you have extensive experience. In the future it would be best not to post until you have some actual progress to show.Im planing on getting all this within a month.
I've done something like this before, and it made the gun look really cool, but it's performance really took a hit.

Damn it Foamfoot. Why is it that you kill every good topic with a retarded response a few days late.

0. Oh well0. I actually detest this attitude.
1. As annoying as concept threads are, it's good to sum up human knowledge in order to foresee any problems that might come up.
2. Especially problems that are difficult to predict unless you have extensive experience.
1. It's not possible to foresee every potential complication. You can make plans to the nth degree, but there will always be some kind of obstacle.
2. You get said experience by ACTUALLY PERFORMING MODS OF YOUR OWN.
The vast majority of concept threads don't lead to finished items.
Don't set absurd goals for yourself. It takes practice to understand what is possible for you to achieve with the resources and tools you have available to you.

Mavs don't have enough range to begin with, so adding a barrel won't make it a bad gun. I mean, it already is.
Besides, cosmetic work can be pretty cool. Except the alligator Vulcan.
I'm gonna say, while I disagree with the rule about concept threads, it is the rule. This is why my NWS variant isn't here.
I leave you with this: Work on it. Fast. Also, work on grammar. Quickly, so you're not banned at 1!
Or not. I bet VACC or Groove or OMC's Moddy senses are tingling already.

I will say, though, that sometimes you just need to bust out the tools and dive into a project. Speculation does nothing except slow you down, which is basically what this thread is all about.
Being proactive with your ideas and refraining from posting until you have a product allows you to share what you do more effectively. And it saves you from having to post on your own thread "whoops, this didn't work, sorry guys".
