last Massacre I got shot with a 2K in the throat from about 5ft away.
Still laughing at that.
I haven't gotten any REAL injuries that i can remember, but every damn time i sit down to make stefan I burn my fingers at least twice. Then, i subsequently yell profanities and drop the dart and it either sticks to the table or falls right on my toes.

i got shot in the eye with a singled titan partially blind for the day and got a dreml stuck in my hair
1. One excellent reason most wars ban Singled Titans.
2. One excellent reason most wars require eye protection.
3. One excellent reason to get a damn haircut.
On Topic: I've cut myself numerous times when modding, but the worst injury around here was my son's. My niece walked up next to him and shot him point blank in the eye. With a tagger. Luckily it was a stock Crossfire. Now, eye protection has always been a rule on the compound, but in this case, my son was unarmed and not playing. I was so pissed at her, not because it happened, but because it was very deliberate. If she'd been MY kid, I would have grounded her for a month. The shot actually damaged his cornea slightly, and he will need glasses.

modding: getting cut with just about the sharpest kitchen knife in the world. had to get stitches and the scar is still puffy. (but it's not infected).

Nerfing: A different buddy this time, shot me with a modded titan in the ear from about a foot away. Thank God it was just the missile and not one of the singled shots.
Interestingly enough, Firefox 3 lists butterfingers as a word to replace nerfing. (Firefox does not have nerfing in it's dictionary)

1, Catch failing on a singled LS, Breaking my finger (Big spring additions. I really though 2 springs could hold the catch.)
2, Hot gluing a Hornet and then noticing that the glue had landed on my hand, and having a blistered left hand.
3, Did a power-slide behind and obstacle and getting a gash down my leg.
I feel so clumsy.

Friend starts aiming at me. I jump off, hoping to dodge it. the dart hits me in the middle of the forehead, and I am so surprised i forget to prepare for the landing. I land on my head and roll about 3 feet on the concrete. Also, i should mention that the war was very close quarters.
Modding: sawing off LS bipod with a dremel. Dremel bit explodes and a piece is flung with so much force it sticks in to my hand. That hurt like a BITCH.
Yeah, it also helps if your nuts are made of steel. Or atleast as hard as steel, to ensure that you can shoot far enough.

I don't consider hot glue burns anymore. I've lost most of the feeling in my fingertips to hot glue burns. And various other burns have really made me stop caring about them.

Spray painting a lot and then getting an arithmea. I walked up my stairs, and fainted at the top. When I came to my cheek hurt from smashing into the ground. I was subsequently driven to the hospital and diagnosed with Ventricular tachycardia. It could have very well been triggered by the spray painting, but the painting didn't cause it. Its something that builds up over time and then, boom, my heart's going at 240 bpm. And of course this all went down on a school night.

Fuck you and your pussy whipped Nerf related injuries. So far, probably getting shot in the face with Ryan######'s +bow, that thing HURT.
You shot me in the face point blank with my own Big Blast, full pumped, foot CPVC Barrel, and I started bleeding and had that scar, yet I laughed it off... I mean really.
And are you ever going to attend an MN war again? Its been kinda amusing how you say all this ownage is gonna happen then you don't show up.
Worst Nerf injury? Probably throwing out my back at the MN Mini War. Took a dive, landed funny, still can't really run or anything. I've had the regular cuts, scrapes and bruises, but this takes the cake.

Same thing but with a recon-I was somehow unfazed even with no fingernail. other than that dremel slipped on high speed with a drill bit-thumbs fine. at a war got shot in the back from a crossbow ten feet away-I got shot a lot from that thing-go figure.A Ls catch failed and the brass breech shot into my finger. It took 4 months for my fingernail to grow back.

As for mid-war, I was sprinting for cover, and when someone popped out from it, I veered, and I didn't get hit, but I ran straight into a rosebush. And that is not the dumbest thing I ever did in a Nerf war. The dumbest was that I was running GOW-style, yet again( If I do that, it never ends well) and I failed to see the truck door(the truck's door was 3' off the ground) in my path. WHACK!!! The door had to be repaired, for a footwide dent from my head.
I happily accept the Dumbass of the Year award, I would like to thank God that I haven't won a Darwin Award...... yet. Charlie, it may be a while, don't hold your breath!
But I routinely burn myself with my hotglue gun, dropping the stefan.... Right on my boxers. That's it for me.
And human stupidity knows no bounds, as my accounts show. My sig!

Getting shot in the eye with a tagger from a modded BBB, 5' away, while I was wearing glasses. I don't know how the fuck that happened, but I couldn't see out of that eye for 2 hours.
Falling off my 6' fence head first after jumping it to retrieve a dart.
Bending down to pick up a dart, and having a tree branch slice my ear when I got back up. I thought it was just a scratch until I noticed a shitload of blood running down the side of my face. Turns out that fucking twig tore a huge gash in my ear.
Getting shot in the arm with a modded Titan 5' away. Only dart that's ever made me bleed.
Modding:
Trying to pry something apart with a screwdriver, only to have it slip and inbed itself into my finger.
While trying to cock a LS+BBB spring longshot, the boltsled failed, which somehow caused the whole gun to pivot upwards and smash into my forehead. I was dizzy for a few minutes after that one.
Not really an injury, but it sucked: a faulty tube of superglue exploded in my hand. My fingers were glued together, and it took nearly 2 hours of scrubbing with acetone, lava soap, and wet sandpaper to get rid of the glue. There was so much of it that it formed crystals of superglue all over my hand.
And Hot Glue burns don't phase me anymore, except a few days ago when I basically covered the whole side of my finger in hot glue. That fucking hurt.
Surprisingly, no power-tool related injuries yet.
Probably dead by now, or something.

I was dremeling just this morning when I pulled the dremel out of a piece of PVC, and the dremel apparently was loose. The uber hot sharp dremel bit came up and hit me in the face, leaving a little scratch, but it hurt like hell.
Someone once glued one of those tiny metal screwdrivers to my workbench, so I was trying to pull it up. When I successfully pulled it out, a little ridge thing came off and sliced my thumb open. That also hurt for a few hours.
Nerfing:
A while back at my 15th birthday party, apparently some smart ass had the idea to use blowguns indoors (that would be me...) and someone else hit me in the eye from about five feet away, at which point I stumbled over a stool being used for cover and almost broke my knee on the tile floor. I couldn't see for about 10 mins. THAT was probably my most favorite birthday.
Just a month ago I was having a fortress round with my friends (someone with a long range gun has to defend against everyone else) so some smart ass decided to rush the guy in the fort (again, me...) and he somehow managed to hit me in the "male parts" from about 5 feet away (he shot me with my Phoenix at full power) at which point I lay on the ground for a decent amount of time.
I have been burned by hotglue too many times to remember, and I haven't really glued myself together yet. (Two of my cousins managed to super glue their foreheads together... don't ask.)

Result of that, a deep, wide scar on my shin, and three toenails fell off.
Modding, grinding a maverick shell down in my boxers, the shell splintered giving me scratches all over my chest and thighs, but worst of all it sent a molten piece of plastic into my eye, under my safety glasses. My eye teared as if I was bawling for the next week.

And are you ever going to attend an MN war again?
Yeah, I'm gonna come back, probably over the summer again. Depends on my ability to get a car/ride.
