Dude, I have 5+ blasters I can loan him, and I'm sure there will other people who'll be willing to loan him blasters. Heck I was able to use one of OMC's crossbows the first time I came to a DCNO.

Amazing! The only problem was there was a full-day soccer tourney going on in the main field, but it forced us to utilize what space we did have and had some very fun rounds.

Awesome weather!
Having just enough darts
Meeting Dizzy
Meeting people from before
Seeing mods (such as the GURU Mk.III and the double barrel PAS)
Getting to play on Tailo's team again

CONs:
I don't want Tailo on my ass, but seriously, even if I were to list them, they paled in comparison to how much fun today was.

People seem to have liked my darts, I came home with 1/4 and I swept 5-6 times.

Awesome war, minus the little shits on the field, and having all of my primaries break on me. That kinda sucked. Anyway, I'm exhausted. I'll post something more coherent later. (Just for the record, I was up at 5:30am and was at work until the war, then after the war, I went back and worked till 10:30pm. Word of advice to the younger crowd: Don't get a job. Ever.)

It was great minus those fuckers taking up the field all day. Who uses a soccer field to play soccer? And people also need to start counting back in out loud so they don't get shot accidentally and then cry about it.

I sort of enjoyed the pistols rounds inside the Labyrinth but it was definitely more fun using regular guns once we got access to the whole place. The pistol rounds in the pavilion-type area with the fence running through the middle were awesome though.

Phil's Arrowstorm wasn't as shitty as you think Hersh. It didn't have the range of the other guns but when he was shooting at us from 30' away it would have been stupid not to run away, or at least back up. Even a quad 2k can't shoot as fast as that thing.

It was nice nerfing with some people I'd never met before. The only ones whose names I remember are Jaxxon, Split and Dizzy but all of the people that had never been to a war did well. Great to see the rest of you too. I've got a welt on my chest from Jaxxon's Crossbow.

I'll be checking myself for ticks and the rest of you should do the same, especially if you were in tall grass a lot.

Dean and Dave, you guys definitely should not have left early to go to that circumcision.

It was an OK war at best, but everyone there made it worth it even if we had major limitations until like 5PM.

I'm also sorry I was such a bitch about getting shot in the face, but seriously.....8 fucking times? Really? I got shot in the face more times yesterday than in my entire nerfing career. That's ridiculous.

I played crappy most of the day and I didn't really have as much fun playing as I did watching others, especially new guys and guys I hadn't seen in forever.

Also, fuck air guns. Either I'm getting slower, or those fuckers are getting faster. I refuse to accept the first, so they must just be well modded. I fucking hate big blasts. There, I said it.

That was fun. I wish Dean had checked to see whether or not there was going to be a state-wide girls' soccer tournament on the same day that the war was going to be held.

Anyway, my ERTL Pump Shotgun "broke", but it's definitely repairable. Howler didn't do too badly; I think it was more a product of my inexperience than my guns flat out sucking. All and all, I don't think I did too badly for a first war.

It was worth making the trip. Even though my big box of guns never made it, and having to use loaner guns all day, I had a lot of fun. I'm glad we got to play on the field at least a couple rounds before we had to go. The pistol rounds were somewhat fun. I don't think I've ever played that many pistol rounds in one war. It was a good change of pace though.

Talio, it was swell meeting you. I like your style of play. You're a fun guy to nerf with. It was also nice to meet Split and see his cool creations. Somehow it seemed I was never on your team yesterday. That 1.5k is deadly.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to another east coast event sometime before the end of this year. This time without any soccer players.

One of the UMBC guys here (camo hat)-

Even with the soccer it was a lot of fun. At UMBC it's all indoor and HVZ so to get out to another outdoor event with some range was refreshing.

OMC- Sorry about one of those head shots.

To the few that had never been to a DCNO before, the primary matches are a million times better when you can round the portable completely.

My right side is completely sore after my failed vaulting over the railing and falling on my back. At least only a few people actually saw my retardedness.

Clubace's firefly shell/bigblast/atk2k clusterfuck proved far more effective than I think a lot of us imagined. Well done on a field effective weapon and a not so pleasant surprise for all of us.
