I am trying to set up a client on my phone, and the application is actually asking for an IP address. I tried just giving it the server name and such that works with the PC apps, but it doesn't seem to work. The "server" says I need more parameters. Anyone have any idea how to fix it? If your phone has some sort of internet browser like most good ones do nowadays, then you could use the
embed.Mibbit.com link. It works for me.

Try connecting to irc.darkmyst.org or irc2.darkmyst.org

If that doesn't work, a few IP addresses to try:
80.190.246.162 or 216.25.44.2

But I would start with irc.darkmyst.org

Also check to make sure your phone's IRC client works on another server, such as Freenode.

If you need a port, the port is 6667.

Because of the chaotic nature of IRC, people can be banned without warning or justification. This is not my policy, so here are the basic guidelines.

-No pr0n or fucking sick shock pictures.
-No spamming (this is flexible and is up to the ops who are active)
-No impersonating. This mostly applies to impersonating administrators of the community, but not exclusively.
-Don't be a douche. You can tell by the reactions of other members if you can't recognize it for yourself.

Also, please follow rules one and two, if you know what that means.

I am adding this to the first post.

I think I may have been banned as well. Whenever I attempt to log on I get a ( +b ) thing. I know I asked a lot of noobish questions but I figured the irc would be a better place to ask then on here. I'm mostly certain that I was banned on a misunderstanding .My nick was usually flounder by the way.
