For me to understand the concept of this "clip" It took me a while to understand, so here you go.
Posted Image

also the clip section must allow for the darts to fall through it, but the barrel should be slightly tighter than a perfect fit.

To reload the entire, you would usually take the barrel off and muzzle load and then replace the barrel

In theory, Your first shot will be your best one. So your range will decrease as you empty the clip.
but if you use a smaller clip the variance in range will be smaller for the sacrifice of less rounds.
So balance out the size of the clip for the gun it is attached to.

ie. I use a 1 foot clip for a BBBB, but a 6" on a AT2K

THANK YOU! I have wondered about this for awhile.
I should put one on my LBB...

I guess that's why my RSCB doesn't work anymore: I have a 1ft one on my 2k, and petg is a perfect fit on my darts. Great job. The evil bunny with that thing installed was A BEAST!

It's just screaming to be rearloading...

I seen a movie about that once.

They work fantastically well on guns that put out a lot of air, like the 4B. If you put a 3/4" valve on the back, you'll be able to rear-load it or add an extended clip.

Yes, my 2k has the same issue. I can only use about a 4 dart clip before I see a significant drop in range. Still, that gives you as many shots as a turret, and the ability to reload without assistance off a ram-rod. I've taken all the turrets off my 2ks, since I no longer see any advantage to them.

You can reduce dead space and thus improve performance by adding a ball-valve between the T and what you call the "clip." Theoretically, with the ball-valve, each shot will go the same distance.

Wouldn't the ball valve slice/mangle darts when you try to close it?

MoonMaster is right, this won't work, because there will a dart inside the valve, which will get mangled.

Here's what I was talking about. Instead of an endcap, I use a 3/4" PVC valve on the back of my clips. This allows me to flip open the valve and drop darts into the clip. Reloading is as quick as if I were using a regular slide breach on the barrel.

Here is my extended clip concept. The stock doubles as an extra 7 dart clip. When the front clip is used up, I open the valve, and the rear clip dumps its darts into the front clip. This is essentially the same as ShortShit's RSCB's AT2k, but with much less convoluted construction. By the way, you need a 1/2" to 3/4" bushing, since the valve is 3/4", and the tubing is 1/2".

Also for alternative loading mechanism, Is to put a breech on the clip.

K9, I honestly had no idea that was up yet, I've been waiting so long to see it. I made a similar thing with using the pump handle to seal a breech but that is nothing like yours, I give you props for pulling it off.

If only this thread was up about 2 years ago... then I would have knowed a lot more.

Yeah I know I'm awesome.

but since the breech makes my hold the gun upside down, I can fire an emergency shot (30ft instead of the normal 80ft) with the breech open.

Tilt forward and tilt back. It's slightly slower, but a) you reduce dead space and b) there's a better seal around the dart being fired.

Ice Nine and I did this to a 4B and it works fantastically.

I was thinking about a system like that, and if you put a slot behind the ball valve, then you can load the darts in, without having to remove the stock. You cold also put a flip or slide cover over the hole, so that the stock can still serve as a re-fill clip.

RSCB'd 4B with a significant amount of dead space cut out. One foot of 3/4" SCH 80 PVC into a 3/4" ball valve, and a 1/2" PVC tee directly into the other side of said 3/4" ball valve. With only a little bit of exterior sanding the 1/2" tee fit perfectly into the 3/4" ball valve. The barrel is eleven inches of 1/2" SCH 40 PVC with PETG nested inside. I have a normal RSCB setup on an AT2K and this is almost as quick to reload. A quick twist of the ball valve, tilt it down, tilt it up (past horizontal), close the ball valve, aim, and fire. Since one dart will remain in the PETG and the remainder will fall back down, the ball valve won't clip darts. Also, the interior of the 3/4" ball valve is definitely wide enough to allow for easy dart travel.

<edit> I'd like to apologize for the terrible third picture, I think I was trying to get a picture of the internal part of the RSCB system or something and it just came out terribly.

Excuse me while I go eat my hat. Very nice setup you have there. Gotta try this on a 2k.
