At WCNO 2, I had found the usefulness of the RSCB clip when I was pwning Rokor. And at Massacre 2, I was thinking (scary I know) why do people only put the RSCB on springers? So I decided to put it on my PAS while on at Massacre 2 AND diddled WHEN RUSHING!!! Then while waiting for a round to start, FA_24 pointed at my RSCB and stated he hated them for the dead space. And to on the way home Dumpy and I were talking and this is the rough outcome of our speculation.

Goals of this mod:
-replace the Doomsayer in wars that it is banned
-Increase the Rof of the PAS
-Reduce the range loss due the deadspace of the RSCB
-Install a better loading system for the RSCB (the removal of the barrel makes it unstable)

So here is the final product (I know that a good paint job makes the mod, But I live in Canada, so…)

The VIDEO

Tools used:
-Hacksaw
-Nailclipper
-wirecutters
-Lighter & Candle + mini screwdriver = drill
-Zip-ties
-superglue
-hotglue gun

First off, do any silencing, and spring addition and all that crap.

Silencing:
Posted Image
(I didn’t do any spring addition cause I don’t’ have any springs)

Then take the brown piece:
Posted Image

And cut flush with the base
Posted Image

Put a small piece of cpvc onto a cpvc elbow and Super glue it in.
Posted Image

Shove some foam into the deadspace.

Now take this orange piece and cut it down to this.
Posted Image

And trim it down to this.
Posted Image

Cut a small cpvc connection between the elbow and the “T”
Posted Image
Posted Image

Close up the shell and cut off the bottom screw

Now make a simple breech out of brass (I unfortunately dint have any, so I had to use copper and aluminum)
Posted Image

Plug up one end of the breech
Posted Image

Glue on a handle on to the back of the breech.
Posted Image

Cut the Trigger guard and drill a hole to accommodate for a zip-tie.
Posted Image

Cut out the ends of the pump handle and the posts inside, to accommodate for the breech.
Posted Image

Drill holes here for zip-ties and whip out the zip-ties, and put dabs of hot glue on the edges on the edge on handle.
Posted Image

Put your barrel on the end and Ta-Da!!!

Nice work! I really like how you now load it like an actual auto shotgun. If i ever get a hold of a PAS I will certainly be looking over this mod again.

Wow! Nice work K9. What sizes of copper and aluminum are you using? It looks like 1/2" copper, but what about the aluminum? If anyone is interested, it looks like you could do the same type of loading breech with the 5/8" copper repair sleeve that I used in my Bathroom Breech design.

The copper is 1/2" but the aluminum I found off an old lamppost from ikea. But Like i said in the write-up, I would prefer to have used brass, because I'm not not even getting a perfect seal of the breech.

And I'm almost done editing my video.

Try one of those repair sleeves. Then you just have to replace that one piece, and you will get a better seal.

So when you cock the gun, the breech opens?

Maybe I'm not getting something, but how is it a RSCB?

That video would be much appreciated sir.

You open the breech, load the darts, close the breech, prime the gun, shoot. The breech is separate from the pump, unless I am mistaken.

Operating note: For me, this gun is optimized for ROF, I have to hold at waist-height. Cause I made this gun is to support my lack of accuracy, so figure if I put enough darts down range I'm going to hit you least once

I think that this would be very good if it was just a separate barrel system, so you could take it out of the coupler and use just a normal barrel if you wanted to. Anyways, nice work!

1 question. How does the dart get into the barrel if you never shaked it down?

In the video, which I assume you are refering to, the gun was already pointing down. The action of pumping could provide enough 'shake' to get the next dart in place. And bacause the gun is pointing down, he didn't need to make sure the dart was completely in the barrel.

Yeah, I remember there was a home-made topic about how to make a gun load like this... well now it is worthy of the name "shotgun" because it actually loads like one.
Now if only there was a mod to make the double shot useful...
