Good to hear. I was wondering what happened to you after Fall MNNO because of your lack of activity. Glad to see your coming back. I too have a lot of guns you can use, assuming other people don't use them.Cool, I'll probably show up then.

High of 44* and Low of 26* mostly cloudly.
A friend of mine says he will go.
He is somewhat noobish (he's only ever used my BBB and a mav) I'll have him informed by the 28th as to what the expectations are (calling hits, 3/15 and all that jazz).

But it's better than the "it ain't safe and I don't like you hanging out with college age kids" junk, so there's still hope.
Sorry to go off topic, but because of the lack of a war between MNSBW and MNSOF, we're thinking about hosting a small war at a slightly remote park in Plymouth, Rolling Hills Park (10401 48th Avenue North, Plymouth). It has a really big open field, a playground and a wooded border for cover, and big hill for a version of Alamo or King of the Hill, but parking is only available on the street, so you'd have to walk your stuff in. The lack of cover means we will need some barriers (CS style, cardboard or folding tables), but food is really close by. It's within biking distance of our house, and right off 169, so an easy drive for the collage dudes. We're really interested, but we want some help to make sure we do it right. I'm going to hit the forums and do some reading. PM us if you'd consider attendence or be willing to co-host.
One last thing-
Beaver and maybe Venom, since we probably won't be at MNSBW, pick up ether at our (potential) mini war, drug deal style (meet, trade, leave), or maybe ship.

Anyway, I had a pretty productive day today. Beaver met me here in Apple Valley to give me the foam I need for my Doomsayer. I also got some rides to places from him and we discussed various things. So, now I have all the things I need for my Doomsayer and I have all week to work on it because of spring break. If anyone needs darts, I can make them for a cost. It costs $16 for 20 feet of FBR worth of darts, so about 120-140 darts. My foam fits well in CPVC and 17/32" Brass.

how do you get 140 darts out of 20 feet of foam? I make maybe 2 inch darts at most and get maybe 80... you lie...Nerf Bros: We will plan the next war after this one happens. It's too bad to hear you might not be able to go. I was looking forward to meeting some fresh blood, but there will be others. The next war will most likely be hosted by me or another young vet in late April or early May.

I don't waste my foam, and I make 1.5" darts. Do the math 20x12=240. 240 divided by 1.5= 160. Subtract wasted/unusable peices of foam and you get about 140.how do you get 140 darts out of 20 feet of foam? I make maybe 2 inch darts at most and get maybe 80... you lie...

We had better have a ridiculous weapon round, I don't want to bring my [F's] to dual wield for nothing.

Haha, it's been so long since we've had a ridiculous round just because I'm the one that has like ALL the ridiculous ammo, and I never want to bring it all out. I bring my practice golf balls usually because they are easy to transport. I'll be willing to have a ridiculous round, but you have to bring your own ammo. If not a full ridiculous round, we could have a round just for guns that shoot less than like 50-60 feet so that people who have ridiculous guns have a chance. How does that sound to you guys?I might need some darts (as of now I only have about 76 stefans and a shit-ton of stock darts).

EDIT: Ryan, I will be bringing my orange flagging tape like I always do. I can't remember ever using it besides a bit at SPANO, but maybe this war will be big enough that I'll need it.
DOUBLE EDIT: Does anybody want to trade a stock NF for my Automatic Tommy 20? Does anybody have any stock NFs they would be willing to sell?

Just wanting to make sure someone was bringing it. I remembered we used it almost every round at SPANO.EDIT: Ryan, I will be bringing my orange flagging tape like I always do. I can't remember ever using it besides a bit at SPANO, but maybe this war will be big enough that I'll need it.
I have a stock Nitefinder that's been laying in the trunk of my car since the last time I was in Minnesota. I could sell it to you for $5. It's brand new, still in the package.DOUBLE EDIT: Does anybody want to trade a stock NF for my Automatic Tommy 20? Does anybody have any stock NFs they would be willing to sell?

Yes I did make that one. If you are interested I could upgrade it to a Rev. 2 at cost. I'll do the labor for free.I would like to point out that I posted a whole boatload of junk over in my sales thread. This is your last chance to buy it. Ryan, is my +bow one that you originally made? I bought it from Sam last fall.

The weather looks pretty decent for Saturday. Hell, anything that's better than today would be fine. It's not so much the cold that bothers me, it's the wind. And I had to walk 3+ miles in the wind today. It was worth it because I got a clipless LS at goodwill for $2. I don't want any stupid excuses for not showing up. If you can't go, post it ahead of time here. I really don't want to call of the war, especially since Ryan is coming all the way here. Then again, all you really need for a good war is Ryan and a few of the cool kids who show up. Assuming everyone who hasn't said otherwise does show, we should have about 10 people, which is pretty good for a non-summer and mostly vet-less war.

I don't know if he wanted his attendance to be unannounced, but you guys should make the extra effort to come. Carbon will be there. I will be there. Need I say more?
And thank you venom.
