So while we were in RI at the hasbro headquaters, we found this little puppy at the Kmart literally 9 or 10 blocks away. It's exactly the same, and as we showed it to the design team, I think everyone of them said...."I smell lawsuit."

Have fun. It shoots a little better by the way from what I've seen and tested.

Uhh, well I'm dumbfounded by that one. It's nice to know that Lanard has balls of steel but that is going a little too far. I guess they have taken the Japanese approach to bussiness though. That is to say other people make it first but they make it better. Still they really should have changed it and made it bigger, in short I want a new Lanard line but time will reveal all.

Well im not suprised, thats not a bad gun. And i am pretty sure that gun did not have a patent on it so its their free bonus. But i'm not 100% sure

Expect a gun similar to the eagle eye soon too, as most of you know i sold them one.

IMO this is great, now nerf truley has a competitor willing to do things like this.

Go lanard!

EDIT: Heres the Eagle Eye thread if you havent seen it.

Interesting note to that IS. While at Hasbro, we were told that out of every nerf gun sold, the Eagle Eye was the best best selling. Therefore it makes perfect sence for Lanard to want to get ahold of one.

Yeah, I know, I didn't believe it either, but supposedly that's why they made the nitefinder, and that's why the gun is selling like crazy.

Lanard has got to be crazy to make a gun like that! I don't really mind, but I doubt Nerf will be very happy with them. For the NIC, competition is probably only a good thing though.

Even the names sound alike, stealth shot and the secret strike pocket blaster are almost identical, have you opened it up to compare the guts?

Lanard's website is also under construction

It was only a matter of time before hasbro had some compition to deal with, have they no shame! copying a gun come on theres pride in the creation something new, this... this is just sad.

Its good for competition, because then nerf will be more willing to release new guns. Not saying that they arn't, but now its make new guns or go out of business.

Jappo, here's a lesson on business. Even though NERF is a brand under hasbro, if they NEVER made another blaster, Hasbro would never go out of business. That is of course if all of their other toys went belly up. Business isn't as simple as it used to be kids. Thank Wal-Mart and other corporations for that.
