Hello Im a bit new to nerf haven not much but this is my first longshot mod/integration/paintjob so please don't make bad comments. Not showing internals becuase Im not gona take the time to open the gun again after like 50 times of unscrewing. Also the front gun acctualy has an AT2K inside.

No fucking way you got near 100' out of an LS by just adding springs. and near 100 feet out of a 2k with a stock barrel is extremely fishy, as well. I don't see a pump for that 2k either.

Thank You Crow. And if you dont like my post dont reply at all the pump is in the front gun and theres PETG in the LS stock barrel maby you should think about it before fucking posting. Next time id love to see you put the time and effort I had put into this yourself. Plus i was shooting it in fair wind so the wind probobly pushed it a bit farther as I said i was freezing in shorts. It is also much easyer to pump becuase your using a shotgun handle in the front gun so i expoxyed the fuck out of the AT2K and im using 15 pumps with a pluged AT2K Becuase im useing a LS with clips and i dont really need the AT2k its just backup incase so i keep it loaded.

Yup and thankyou If your wondering what paint i used i used testors paint for model cars i used testors spray for black then hand painted the silver.

I'm having a lot of trouble believing you without internal pics. The reason I'm having trouble believing you is because I've met someone who did similar mods to the LS, and it maxed out around 65'-70'. I also know my way around a 2k fairly well, and it's not going to get 100', certainly not with a stock barrel. Cold weather will also suppress ranges out of spring guns.

I'd love to see how you managed to put PETG into the LS barrel, and where the barrel is located in relation to the breech.

And for your information, I have put enormous amounts of time and effort into several guns, including an LS.

You don't need to prove what an LS can and can't do. The modification directory has plenty of mods to do that. I only criticize the implausible, I won't criticize the plausible and possible. I can barely comprehend the second to last statement (and most of your posts too) because of spelling and grammar, so can you read this ?

Since you called him out. I'm calling you out. Open up the gun. Cause I think you're bullshitting about the ranges as well.

Also you need to learn how to use punctuation.

And the AT2k won't take 15 pumps if its plugged. Not from the stock pump. 5-6 is all you're really getting in there. So again internal pics would be great. So did you shorten it to 1/2 the lenght or did you replace it with a different pump?

Your defensiveness also lends to the idea that you are exaggerating your ranges. "theres PETG in the stock barrel" still won't get you 100' and I'd like to see how you pulled that off. What kind of redesigning to the breech system did you employ here to make effective use of that petg barrel? cause the darts load into the rear barrel and the transition from the crap real barrel to a faux front barrel is going to substantially reduce your ranges.

Again making your ranges sound false.
Finally if you wanna talk about all the time you've spent on your gun. You should finish the paint job on it.

So open it up. show us the internals.

One last thing. The angel breech is the best longshot barrel and FA_24 got 100 foot ranges with a bbb spring and the stock spring. In the middle of a Canadian winter (his darts would have shrunk and fit worse). You have a petg breech (unproven), which you only told us you had after we questioned your ranges, petg does not usually fit well for springers, you do not have a bbb spring, and refuse to show internal pictures. Do you see why we question you now, ? And most of use have worked on longshots for a considerable amount of time

It's a shame because I think that gun looks quite hawt and I'm sure you would have gotten a lot of praise if you hadn't BSed about the ranges. The supposed AT2K integration is extremely clean, the PJ is nice and the whole thing just flows really well in my opinion.

Two things. Number one, I'm new to Nerf and even I can tell those bull shit ranges. And if anyone comments on how I said "bull shit" instead of "bs", I'll go shoot up the McDonald's about a mile from here. As everyone has said before me, PETG is best for air-guns and brass is best for springers(in my experience). Secondly, without ANY views showing the guns internals, or even that you put in a different barrel material. Now I can understand not wanting to take it apart again, because the Longshot is a bitch. But wouldn't it have been smart to take some pictures of the internals while you were doing the modifications? The Longshot spring and BBB spring with air-restrictors might get you ranges of 75-80 feet. But 100 is BARELY possible with the Angel Breech and/or a Carbine (or so I've heard). Secondly, you have no idea how idiotic you sound, bickering with TheNerfLoki. *in a childish voice*"I don't need to explain anything to you, so fuck off!" To be honest, I'm a 12 year old kid and I can speak more sensibly than that(yes, I know I broke the CoC, but I probably won't be attending wars, so I'll stay out of the way ). I modded a Ls recently and I can only get (on a good day I might add) around 40' ranges max and then it's so inaccurate that it's useless. Granted I'm using streamlines not stefans (and it's as leaky as a garden hose that was targeted by the school marksmanship squad) but still your ranges are Bs. If you come clean about it people (probably) won't flame you as much, so just admit you screwed up. Still I am cuious about how you integrated an At2k into that thing. If you ever open it please post a writup.

If you're getting 40' ranges out of a LS, then I have no idea what you did to it. Whatever it was, I wouldn't be bitching to people about their supposed 100' ranges, because it looks like you don't know jack about modifying LSes. If you're getting 40' ranges with a LS then you need to stop ripping on people and actually go do something better to your LS. Yeah, maybe he didn't get 100' ranges, but I'd bet my soul he got more than 40'.
