Hello again. I've been searching around the forums for a while but I didn't come across anything. I'm looking for an O-Ring that I can use for my Longshot, as I found one of my old Catches, and in order to get it working, I need this one last thing. So far I have tried #3491, #3492, and #3489 rubber fender washers, with a somewhat decent seal, but nothing good enough to propel the dart more than 10ft.

P.S. I am also in need of a few extra springs, so if any of the Canadians know a place that sells them, please let me know.

i have the same problem, trying to find a good o Ring,

but for your spring....

If you have any broken Recons or NF lying around, then use those, i have a recon spring in mine and i get better ranges.

Hope this helps (Well for the spring part)

Have you thought about replacing the plunger head?

There's a part list on this thread from Caption Slug. Look in the Quoted Area and it will give you the dimensions of the washers that you will need.

Link

But the basic breakdown is:

Plunger head replacement
#10 1-1/4" OD steel washer
#10 1-1/2" neoprene washer
#10 1-1/4" OD steel washer
#8 steel washer

Thats what I am currently running in my CPVC Ls that I only finished about 30minutes ago.

And popatachi, I knew I heard somewhere that CS did something with a plunger, haha.

Thanks for all the help guys.

EDIT: Turns out the fender washers I had already tried were the ones that CS used. I guess I didn't do it the right way the first time.

My plunger head replacement is not easily replicable. My source of really thin rubber washers dried up, so you'll have to experiment on your own to find one that will fit under deformation.
It would be much easier to replace the stock o-ring with one of a slightly larger cross-sectional diameter.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Well since I have a bunch of left over parts from my Snap I just used one of the left over fender washers, and that is most likely what you found at Home Depot, since that is where I picked up mine. I stuck it in my CPVCed longshot, and I'm consistently hitting the 80' mark with the new plunger setup (with a Recon spring). Thanks for all the help.
