This thread sucks for too many reasons to list.

To add on to that: The high amounts of trans fat in their foods siffens(sp) your arteries(sp).

dictionary.com
use it

Regular high saturated fat intake leads to atherosclerosis: http://en.wikipedia....Atherosclerosis
But more worrisome is the extremely high sugar content of the food they serve. And it's all synthetic high fructose corn syrup sugar. Which is harder for your body to digest than cane sugar so most of the excess of it ends up getting converted into fat.

Because of their extremely high calorie count, eating any of their menu items for one meal a day might be passable if the other two meals you eat that day are of low calorie values and have the dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals the McDonald's food is lacking in.

It really doesn't matter what you eat, so long as it's NOT THE ONLY THING you eat and it is free of parasites and toxins. Eat a balanced diet of a daily calorie count that matches your activity level.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Since you're too young to get a hotel, you should look around, maybe check some aim chatrooms.
Theres alot of really friendly, nice people out there, that'd be more than willing to accomodate a young boy.

If you're stupid enough to eat McDonald's 24-7, you deserve the health problems.

People who get fat off of fast food have no one to blame but themselves.

Actually, a lot of people who eat at McDonalds eat there because it's cheap and its one of the only ways they can eat on their budget. And this topic is retarded.

Anyone that posted in this topic deserves health problems.

Gaaaaaaaa!!!!

Ok, I won't suggest anything to anyone, so I'm not backseat moderating so much but... Really? You actually made a topic about a controversial business just for it to be argued? Would one not be insane to do that? It's pretty damn prevalent on here that topics starting to have any political discussion are closed. As a general rule at the haven we don't have any sort of political discussions, sorry you did not interpret that from what you've seen here. My biggest question is, HOW THE HELL DID THIS MAKE TWO PAGES?

I'm only ranting on McDonalds because they are the ones that started it all. If the McDonald brothers hadn't sold their company to Ray Kroc, things might be better.

Actually, White Castle was the first when they opened their first location in Wichita, Kansas in 1921.

"The White Castle restaurant in Wichita, Kansas is credited with being the first fast food restaurant, even though the term "fast food" was not used when the restaurant opened in 1921. Hamburgers themselves were not even commonly eaten as they were considered poor quality and even unsafe. Billy Ingram and J. Walter Anderson, the founders of White Castle, created a market demand for burgers and started many of the concepts and conventions still used in the fast food industry today.

Before White Castle and "fast food," hamburgers were sold mostly at fairs and circuses and the public thought of them as cheap food made from scraps of meats that were often improperly cooked. Ingram, along with Anderson, a short-order cook who, in 1916, came up with the hamburger.

Their methods changed public opinion of hamburgers by letting customers watch the burgers being made. They came up with the "5 hole" concept in which 5 holes were formed in each patty to ensure thoroughly cooking of the meat. The attention to safety did help convince the customers to try the burgers. Ingram and Anderson claimed the 5 holes also improved flavor.

The first White Castle burgers had onions in the meat and as they were small in size, it was common to eat more than one. White Castle was not only the first restaurant to serve fast food, but also the first to come up with a marketing slogan for fast food: "Buy 'em by the sack." It was also the first fast food business to use coupons to attract new customers."

So what? I've written 12 page rants about gun possession, abortion, and the legality of crack cocaine. I would NEVER post those here.
There are other places to post these things. I searched "political discussion forum" on google and got ten different boards on the first page.

If you ever go to Russia, never ask for a coke, its got cocaine in it, or so I am told. Hmm....Russian coke.... ^_^

Oh, crud. You see, Coca Cola was made in Atlanta, Georgia. Well, they have this cool place down here called the World of Coke. There's a tasting room with Coke from all around the world, and last time I went, I tried every single one of those Cokes...

I'm sorry. I forgot about White Castle. If there is one thing this post can agree on, is that we should thank Hamburger Charlie.

Hello people that don't want to talk about nerf related stuff. This topic is about McDonalds. You can say anything you want about McDonalds, jut please don't get off topic.
Why don't they have the decency(sp) to list all of the ingredients in their foods? All I want to know is if there is poop in my Big Mac, or are my french fries cooked in Partially Hydrogenated Oil. Partially Hydrogenated Oils are trans fat. Can't they make the food a little healthier? all I'm really asking for is less than 10% of my daily fats come from one of your burgers. Who cares if the food doesn't taste the same in EVERY SINGLE MCDONALDS restaurant in the country! You can let the food taste good and be healthier at the same time right? I am currently in a boycott of McDonalds.

1. Read the CoC and you well see that the name of you topic should not have AIM style talking in it. ( OMG )

2. This is too off topic for off topic and has nothing to do with nerf what so ever, And I hope this is closed or removed.

Edit - And now your talking about poop!! WTF??

He obviously read the CoC because he has good grammar. He did not say any AIM style talk in that post. This is not too off topic for off topic. I mean, look at the peanut butter guy!

i dont like peanutbutter

This might deserve to be locked, but he did nothing REALLY wrong.
