I haven't touched my longshot in a while, and I just put it back together. When the bolt is back, is the jam door supposed to slide freely? it goes back and forth if I tip it, there is practically no friction. is this normal, or did I just screw it up?

Yes it is normal. I have a stock LS and it does that.

Yeah, it does that so you can clear jams.

I know it's saposed to slide, but there is no resistance. If i tilt it back, it slides all the way open.

My stock longshot slides with no resistance once I manually slide it a little bit, although, I did lend it to someone for a huge war yesterday, so he might have messed it up. Hope this helps.

The sexiest thing to do with the jam door is glue it to the bolt sled. Then it opens every time the blaster is primes. It is cool and functional.
