I am getting a new phone soon, and I have narrowed it down to the LG Voyager, or the Samsung Glyde. I have been seeing some pretty positive reviews on both of them but I was wondering if anyone here actually owns one of them and likes it. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

The enrichment center reminds you that the weighted companion cube cannot speak. In the event that it does speak, we urge you to disregard it's advice.

I'll just throw my two cents on in getting a phone.

The more you spend on a phone, and the fancier it is, the more frustrated you're going to be when it breaks. And face it, in today's day and age, everyone takes their phones everywhere, and eventually something will happen to it. Get something durable that will last you until your next trade in date. My cousin and I test our cellphones before we by them by taking the display and dropping it.

If the phone freezes or something happens to it, we don't get it, simple as that.

I get all giddy when I see VACC browsing a stupid topic. I just know someone is going to get banned.

They are probably the same. It'll be like apples and oranges if your try to compare them.

I'm getting a G1 Google Phone, I think it's just as good, plus I'm on a tight budget.

I have seen both in person and messed with both. They both seem durable, but one question is do you text much? The hinge on the Voyager seems to break with my friends (a lot of them have it). I say the Glyde is the way to go.

I have the Glyde, and let me just say that I freaking love it. It's really easy to text with the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the camera is pretty good(and the camcorder, too), and the games, specifically Time Crisis Mobile, are awesome. My only problem is that on some applications the touch screen is... less than perfectly responsive. But overall, it's an awesome phone.

My sister has the glyde.

Easier to do that texting crap because of the sliding, and she seems to like it. No problems so far with it, and the battery holds out for a decent amount of time.

So, despite what you guys said, I got the Voyager. I really like this phone, it has great call quality and tons of features. I was playing around with the V-Cast Rhapsody thing and I found that the USB driver supplied with the phone is only compatible with Windows running XP or Vista, and I have a Mac. I was just wondering if anyone here knows of a site where I can download a Verizon USB driver that is compatible with Mac. Any help is appreciated.
