Ok theres not much to describe but this is my first write-up. So here I go!



Ok So I started out with my newest NF. It has a cpvc barrel 2 O-rings and a stretched spring



Then I took a peice from the Loading Indicator on the LS and hot glued it on the pullback handle



Then hot glue 2 peices of LS front gun extesion barrel to the circular part with the nerf symbol



Then reinforce the peice of plastic on the pull back handle with a peice of plastic from the sights of the front gun extesion of the LS



Then cut 2 lengths of cpvc about as long as it shows in the picture



Then Hot glue a magstrike bladder cover peice to the ends of the cpvc



then put the cpvc through the barrel pieces and pull back and push forward and there you go. And if it's not working the right way hot glue stefans head out to get it to push farther.

I'm a little confused. What is this supposed to do? Is it purely cosmetic?

This is very practical in a war. I mean seriously, who would keep flipping their gun upside to cock it. Plus it covers half of the barrel.

Good mod but a little unpractical.

Now go make a shotgun foregrip on a longshot. :-)

bamblack2000, I'm pretty sure this is meant to be used as a slide like on the recon, not as a pump. Of course he wouldn't be flipping it upside-down every time to prime it.

Good job, this slide is almost 100% likely to be used similar to the recon or the mav or the 8 barreled abandoned child of the n-strike family.
The NF doesn't have the multiple capaicty of the others so cocking isn't really a huge deal I guess, but it's good work and if your mod works for you then that's probably the best measure of success.

you dont glue the handle on to the charging handle. If u read it does not say to do that. Or did you just look at the last picture and assume that.

There's no added friction on the plunger rod, but that wide piece you glued perpendicular to the priming rod is definitely adding mass.

priming rod + extra mass = slower plunger acceleration = less range

No, it would be fat, unwieldly, and unlikely to fit in a holster.

All that a side, people need to stop bashing rifleman for this mod. (the above comment isn't bashing, just pointing out that it wouldn't work in the side arm position in a nerf war) If he wants to do it, it is his gun. It isn't all about what's "war worthy." It's about having fun, and making stuff that you think is cool. I personally wouldn't do this mod, but if he likes, then fine.

I get what you were going for here, attempting to make it have a slide like a real gun... however, it's just not very practical.

Is it practical? as it is, not really.

Does it have potential? In my opinion, yes.

I was thinking of doing something like this. It would be guided by the "TACTICAL N-STRIKE RAIL"... and it would engage a breech and clip system on the front... however I have not the tools, materials nor the time to do such a project....anytime soon.

Im sorry but this is a pretty bad idea, although the PVC doesent weigh a lot. It does slow the cocking mech down a little since the mech not only pulls in, but it also has to pull the PVC back into place. Just my two cents, if it works for you, then im happy.
