HOLY SH**!!! I built a lancer based on the design forsaken put up and managed to finish it the night that Gears released (got to be first in line because of it) but this makes mine look like sh**. I do admit that mine doesn't fire since I was in a hurry and that I soldered the wires to the battery but I thought I did good and than I see this. I bow to your superior modding and bondoing skills.

Thanks to the guys that have posted the second time around, but this is for an update. This is now for sale, and there is a sales thread in the trading section with a link to the auction. Also, I have internal pics on my friends computer, and I will be going over there later tonight to get them, and we are going to make a video to show the features of the gun.

Thanks, but yes, I did say it. I pretty much used the exact words "it gets the same ranges as a normal modded longshot." There was just a little more to it.

Necro time! It's for good reason though, as usual with my necros. I never posted pics of the box I made for this because I never finished it. It is finished now except for painting it. It is made from 1"x8" boards, 1"x3" boards, some hardware and some old foam I got for free. Anyway, here it is:













I am most likely going to paint the box OD green, and then put a white COG symbol and info on my name and box contents. I also need to put something on the lid to keep it from opening all the way back because when opened fully, it puts a lot of stress on the screws in the hinges. Questions and comments are welcome.

Also, before anyone asks, yes, it is heavy, but I wanted the gun to be safe during shipping.

Somehow I don't think he's going to be running around with this box very much. Man, the thought of somebody running around with that box in a war makes me laugh.

I am going to put a hole for the extra mag, but I haven't decided how I want that yet.

No. Once I put the cocking handle on (if I keep using the stock one), it has to be thick enough for the handle.

Hmm...I might look into that. I thought about doing something like that before, but I decided against it because I wasn't keeping it. Now that it's mine, I should go all out on it.

To keep it from opening all the way, screw a chain to the inside of the box and then to the lid, set it so it is a little past the 90* point.
