If you're planning THAT far ahead (as in next summer), we're gonna have to go SOMEWHERE in the midwest. I would certainly have no problem with playing indoors (especially because virtually every war we're going to play at on the trip is bound to be outdoors.) It'd throw some nice variety into things, and a 4-level building sounds just plain awesome. I don't see a reason to ban guns that extensively...indoor wars are still fought at distances (especially if there are hallways, etc.)

The plan for SOF is still, of course, to play on YOUR turf, by YOUR rules, so whatever location YOU guys decide on, if we end up coming to you. Get a good solid turnout going, and we'll see about the possibility of Kansas City as a stop!

Ok, sounds good but the thing is, were having it in Topeka only another hour drive on I-70 so I hope that doesn't change anything. Also I don't know if I can get the indoor area, it's still a maybe, but as Falcon said we wont have to ban too many guns because some of the hallways are really long.

The wind, hills, birds, small toddler's parents who make you have a time-out to let them ride down the slide like an the Minnesota war. Indoors only long ranged weapons will be able to kill unless you are spiderman and can crawl on the cieling like a freaking ninja with your magstrike in hand. And also aiding to my argument is the fact that we can't break anything that we aren't aiming for outside.

Hey its Black Slate, Guys a Kansas Nerf War Sounds Awesome. I personally think we should have it in Kansas City. If this dose happen im there just contact me. There's a really nice park in overland park,KS that about 99 and row if anyones lives near there. I also vote and outdoor war.

Kansas City may be a better place than Topeka, for me. My parents own a Mr. Goodcents restauraunt, and they have a convention every year. I may be able to see when the convention is in '09, and then maybe we can schedule it then. I'm sorry if I seem selfish, but this may be the only way I can go.

Hey, i found the name of the park. its called Row Park at 103 and row. The park is huge, with enough room for us to stay away from other people. We wouldnt have to stop play for a kid or something. plus there are obsitcles and trees every..Also the war would have to be in Kansas City or else i wouldnt be able to come.My parents dont believe in nerfing. Anyway this could be a good possiblity if we decided to have an outdoor war.

Anyway i was thinkingabout it and this might be to soon but what do you think a good name for this war would be? my idea is "Kansas Eclispe". What do you think? Post your suggestions. Also i got 2 guys from my school who are willing to play if the war is in kansas city. Peace out

I like the Crestview Park idea. It looks very wide open in the pictures and I like stuff like that. Gives me room to use my --------- secret. Also, I really REALLY like the name Armageddon. But I know how we can't use it because there already is a big war named this. So I really don't know.
