I have read Webbzterz bic pen mod, and don't really understand how it works.

Bic Pen Mod

Do you replace the trigger return spring, or is it a different spring? I have also heard of people just gluing part of a spring. What spring are they talking about? Should I do the bic pen mod?

Basically, it allows you to pull the trigger harder than before. The spring on the triggers of most of the supermax guns is there to prevent you from firing an overpressurized gun.

But anyways, I used to wrap the springs in ribbon and then tape... you could just put hotglue there too, as you've said.

Just find a way to make the spring on the trigger a rigid thing, with no tendencies to compress (well.. a great deal,) and you're done.

Doesn't really reduce the trigger pull.. Just makes it more responsive.

Ya, if you don't do a trigger fixer upper you will have a most difficult time pulling the trigger. You have to do a sorta combo of pumping the gun and firing it at the smae time to fire it. Anyways, for the 1500 just take a bit of hot glue and cover a bit of the spring in it. If it is still too loose add some more until you think its good enough. If you have the other 1500 and you cover the entire spring in glue, wehn you try to put it back into the trigger asembly it will not fit right and it will open the valve.

Is the spring we are talking about the air release spring? Also, why is the trigger going to become harder to pull if all I do to my AT2K is plug the end of the pump and add copper barrels?

I never found the need, nor had any issues with any of my AT's or SM series guns triggers once fully moded to do this trigger mod. I've just never had a hard time pullin the trigger...

All this does is make it so you don't have to compress the spring before the air is released. I don't think that it makes the trigger pull any easier. It just releases the air sooner on the trigger pull. Trigger pull is effectively the same, cause the trigger goes all the way back anyway. It's just easier this way. Also, theoretically, the air from the tank will be released more instantaneously. Anyway, instead of partially pulling back the pin at the beginning and leaking a little air, all the air gets released at the same point in time. Theoretically. It doesn't make a practical difference, but still. At least try putting in a bic pen, I atleast like the feel of it with it in.

Listen:
ou oull hte rigger. the spring compresses. when the spring fully compresses, it pulls back he firing pin. this way, you pull it back immediately. no compressing. got it?

What in the hell is that? Some new language for the drunk to understand? Come on, read your posts before posting, or edit them afterwards if you honestly couldn't catch that big of a screw up.

Onto the trigger. All this does is make air come out without pulling the trigger too hard. You can still pull the trigger down the whole way, but this little mod makes it so that you don't have to. It's personal preference. It does not increase performance or anything like that, it's like putting on a new trigger. You are altering response time, nothing more.

i'm sick of whatever you two have going on together, so to save us from this, i will translate . by looking at your keyboard, it's pretty easy to decifer "ou oull hte rigger" into "you pull the trigger". maybe his fingers are just offsest to the left a little.

Dude, that post was made before the "Update..." thread. It's over man, forget it. I'm not saying anything to the kid anymore. That post was more ribbing than anything, I only was trying to say "Read over your posts." I wasn't giving the guy hell.

Let's stay on topic.

Nerfer16, you figured it all out now? That's good, good luck with your mod.
