This thing is easier to mod than a nf.
Supplies
ratcheting pipe cutter
hot glue
plumbers goop
cpvc and coupler

Firs off cut off most of the barrel. Easy measurement cut to the F in the nerf logo. Also, make this cut as straight as you can following the normal direction of the barrel.

Now you have this.

First add hot glue and when that dries ad the goop so it will hold. Also, rough up the area you are gluing.

Now cut a barrel anywhere from 4-6 inches. I used about 4.5 more for when I band it.
I would have replaced the spring but there are no screws just glue holding it together.

Bam, at least 35' flat.

Questions, comments, flames?

Nice writeup and fairly simple mod. Not a item I would've normally gone out of my way to get but that works nicely :).

I still like it when people mod the bad Nerf guns.
I think you might be the first to do a write up on this dildo.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Nice. But practically speaking, how comfy is it to wield?

You would be my hero if you integrated it into a hat for old times' sake.

Maybe one of those awesome soda drinking hats!!! Anyway, nice modification. Not great ranges, but what do you expect for something that's supposed to be mounted on your head...

If you had kept the headgear or modded it onto a pair of Dart Tag shades, you'd give "eye protection" a whole new meaning! XD

Pirate Show: As it is now it is pretty comfortable.
Min.tee: I still have the headgear and all the other stuff.

Cool. A second question, then: could the barrel be lopped off before the angle instead of after it, or would important guts get damaged? I may have access to one of these, and I'm thinking of adding it to my BBB as a sort of backup barrel/shotgun foregrip- but that would require it to be able to fire if reduced to a linear tube.

I am pretty sure you could because when I looked down it as far as I could all I saw was supportive pieces of plastic so it wouldn't get crushed.

I did first mod it with the head gear and cpvc 3" and it went about 15' tops.
