No, we fly to VA then it'd be a 5 hour drive to ECNO.Put me down as a big maybe. My dad goes up to Virginia alot this fall for work, and if he checks his schedule and he does have to go up around this time, I could possibly go. Again, its at least a five-hour drive there from Virginia, and I have no idea how we would get our guns and darts up there(mail?), so it's an extremely low chance, but it is at least possible.
Well, if you're driving why whouldn't you just take your guns with you in your car?
We're located in I-Don't-Give-a-Damn County, in scenic Shut-the-Hell-Up-achussets.
Maybe you're familiar with our annual charity drive where we ask for shit, and no one gives any.

Oh, yeah, lol. I wasn't thinking about the trip from Texas to Virginia. Yes, you could mail them to me, if you could make it.

Awesome, if I can go, I do not want to be facing you and get The 9,999 Day Special from your Crossbow. But it will be an honor to meet Groove. By the way Rambo, move me up to more than likely with my 2-ish guests. You can move me to the definite column.

Thanks for the endorsement. I'm really looking forward to this since I've never nerfed there ( last time I sat out because of injury ).
I really hope we can have somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 people at the war.
Off the top of my head I'd like to hear from:

This is really soon after DCNO, which I'm already committed to. I think my Nerf travel budget is going to be a little too tight for this one, not to mention my schedule.
For a 1 1/3 hour drive?
Just kidding. I understand... and I should've remembered you mentioning this at Mill Creek, my bad.

So put me as a maybe for now.
As a sidenote, what do you think about a Maximizer? Legal for a war of this size? It's not exactly a standard gun, but it's also not as overpowered as something like a doomsayer. Mine doesn't even have brass .

I'm not familiar with the Maximizer, but:
As far as gun power goes, I'm one of the more lax people. However, if any of the following happen, I will have to ask you to not use the gun anymore:
1. Anyone fears for their safety.
2. Anyone bleeds. If, for some reason it's a freak accident that a bb came out of a stefan then this rule will not necessarily apply.
Additionally, no guns powered by anything other than air, spring or battery will be permitted - CO2-powered automatics like The Eyes of Fire will be allowed

I need to see if Maryann will be coming along as well. She has been dying to see this venue to take pictures.

Rambo, I'm surprised that you've never fought a Maximizer...is it that rare of a gun? I didn't do much to mod it other than saw the end of the AR off, if you can call it that, and then put a reducer, coupler, and CPVC barrel on it. I'm not quite sure of the range, looks to be about 80-90, but varies depending on the dart. It shouldn't draw any blood, I used it before in a round at New York. Given the general inaccuracy at long ranges and slower ROF than a maxshot due to the kinda fragile cocking handle, I think it's fairly well balanced.

If I can join a carpool from Bergen County, then I am 90% sure of attendance, just have to clear the final details.

Pilz used one at Armageddon 2007, but it didn't leave much of an impression.

I remember the Maximizer that baghead used at the '06 'Geddon, It was a decent gun, but definitely not ban-worthy.
I messaged Crankymonky, and havent gotten a reply from him yet, so I don't know his plans.
