With the whole keyring thing I can't understand where most drill the hole or if its just gooped to the back... Any help is appreciated.

Once you've taken the slide off, there should be a chevron shaped bend in the plunger rod. Most people just stick the ring there and glue it down.
Of course, there's always my way...

I didn't use a keyring on mine, I used zip ties. But I drilled about a 1/8" hole maybe half an inch up from the back of the plunger rod and threaded them in there.

i recently did that to my lnl. i put the hole at the tip of the point on the rod, but it was through the thinner part of plastic, not the thick ridges. I hope that makes sense, tell me if it doesnt.
