Alright, so the biggest disappointment of the Mega Missile was the pumps lack of size. I took a hornets pump, cut it down(both the tube and the handle),and wrapped it in electrical tape and jammed it in there. I then preceded to cover it in hot glue.
















This mod also makes the gun more comfortable to hold upside-down. I have no brass, so no range tests yet, and I used a keyring trigger because the original one couldn't fire the gun after about 15 pumps (of the hornet pump).

EDIT: BadWrench corrected me. I just looked at my magstrike and he's right.

hornet pump is A LOT smaller than magstrike..... smaller in diameter and shorter.... the pump handle on a hornet is much larger than a magstrike handle.

Replaced pump with one from a magstrike, and also trimmed it down a bit. Aptly named The Boat.

Very cool little 100' monster. Christ. Props on the keyring idea. I love how the pin sticks out on this one unlike how it's shrouded on the Big Blast.

No recorded ranges yet, but it should very well get over 100'. The air alone at 10 pumps dented a soda can. I really like this gun.

Thanks, I'm just kind of skeptical about that. I'm sure it's possible but I would think it takes a bigger gun than that...

I would really love to see that.... But this is cool! You took the one flaw of the Mega Missle, and fixed it. Props. Now, you have a near perfect sidearm/primary combo. I'd make a Double Mega Missle with Pump Replaced...

Would have been up yesterday but just started to work uploading today.

Anyway this was my Mega Missile sometime yesterday.


As you can see about the same place Doubleshot's was. Since then him and I have made many changes to our guns. I'll let him show his but here is what I have done with mine:

In a nutshell I added the stock from the ERTL Shotgun and removed a piece to accommodate the pump. For easier pumping I removed the Hornet handle and replaced it with a pair of nuts and PVC on long bolts. I didn't like the black so I took a sock with GOOP OFF on it and rubbed a bit for the more unique look. And I placed the old breech cover with a piece of good fitting conduit pipe. I haven't tested ranges yet but I will as soon as my dad's business closes up for the day. Teenagers walking around with toy guns isn't very good looking at a veterinarians.

that little hting just begs to be integrated, can;t you hear it??? IF you put it on a magstrike you will only need 1 pump for both guns

Distances with 10 pumps, shot level from 5'. And 7' skid or so.
90', 92', 95', 95', 97', 98'.
After 10 pumps the power doesn't seem to change to much. 20 pumps only yielded an average of 101' with skid or so. Guess I need a longer barrel.

Ok. Next trip to Fred Meyers and I'm grabbing one. Almost did yesterday but got something else instead.
But I just remembered I have a spare hacked titan pump that I can use for this.

Titan pumps don't fit inside the normal pump tube, neither to at3k pumps.

It is about the same diameter (a little smaller, you'll see) but the O-ring for the titan is still too small to use straight up inside the normal pump tube. I'm sure you could hack off the tube, and hook up the titan's some how. If it came out clean, I may try that, considering the titans pump is even bigger then the magstrikes. I say even bigger because I switched out a hornets for the magstrikes for that very reason.

To all the non-believers of the 100ft range, I have one of these, singled, and it shoots over 100ft.
