Just got it, wow this baby is gettin' modded tomorrow! I love this gun, I order all who can get there hands on one to buy it now! It was $5.99 at Target!

Any east coasters get one yet? I have checked my local Target, they have NOTHING in nerf. I will take a ride to the nearest walmart later tonight.

I've not had any luck. TRU is cleaned out, Walmart has nothing, Target has nothing. I'll be checking some others nearby though. My guess, it's not out here yet.

East coast retailers are poop. Both of my Walmarts have a few TTs, Target has absolutley nothing, ToyRUs have Rapid Fires.

One of my Wal-Mart’s had only two of these when I checked. There was not even a price tag on the shelf where they were so they may have been in another section of the toy department that I did not spy. My other local Wal-Mart didn't have any at all and I've had no love at Target. I am as you may have guessed on the west coast but not in a major market by any means. It is just after Christmas and stores may still be recovering from that. I do wonder why they were not out for Christmas as they would have done very well as they are cheap and geared for indoor fun. I must concur that the handle is very comfortable.

My Wal Marts and Target stores also suck. Target had no Nerf guns, and Wal Mart had the Atom Blasters. Suckiness. I'm in Washington State (South-East corner).

Yeah, this was a lucky find for the most part. Nerf guns are very scarce, and most stores are stipped clean. So you guys know, I'm an East Coaster...Coast-er...Coast-living-person.

I just went to target to buy SWAT (by the way it's pretty cool) and I saw 3 TTGs and 4 nite finders. So I bought 1 TTG and 2 Nite Finders if anyone can sell me PETG I would appreaciate it.

I looked high and low for the gun while home in Wisconsin, with no luck. I swear Wal-Mart in WI has an anti nerf gun bent. I haven't seen a nerf gun in my hometown Wal-Mart since before the AT line. I'll have to try Michigan stores now that I'm back.

Alright, I just picked up two of these babies. I like 'em.

Stock, they shoot better than the TTS and the LnL. And, they are very comfortable in the hand.

A tip on searching for them: I was quite let down when my local Target didn't have them in the small Nerf section. To my luck, after subconsciously wandering over to the Super Soakers a few aisles down, I stumbled upon four neatly placed Nite Finders. So, next time you go to Target or Wal-Mart, check the Super Soaker section as well.

I seriously suggest you people pick one (or more) up. These things are the next LnL.

I'm so happy to see Nerf releasing spring guns once again. It seems almost as if the trend of this "Target Gun" line is following that of the Hypersigt line. The Tech Target is the large, main pistol equivalent of the Lock 'n Load. The Nite Finder, a bit smaller of a sidearm, is the Mono-Blast. What's next? Hopefully we'll get a large primary somewhat like a Big Bad Bow or an Expand-a-Blast.

Unlike in this picture, my barrel assembly only broke into three parts. The air restrictor and the plunger cap were one.

that could explain the difference in serial numbers. If different versions had different barrel assemblies they probably gave them different numbers.

I'm an East Sider, and my local Kohls had about 10 of these. I picked one up and I was very pleased with it's stock preformance. I tried CPVCing it, but it dosent shoot anymore, I'm not sure why. I'm gonna mod it again, and if it still dosen't work, I'm gonna go buy another one.

Diablo,check the O-ring on the plunger,mine was turned up after my mod.

Grinch, the plunger cap can be pulled off. I think he ment 4 parts when the whole thing is completly dissasembled.

Oh, and btw, i am getting ranges of about 70 feet. I used brass and drilled through the plunger cap which gave me a heckuva lot of air.

Ok, I fixed my gun and now it's great. Turns out I had one of the pieces in backwards, which resulted in about 0% air flow. I fixed it and also drilled a hole in the middle of the 3-holed piece to allow for more air flow. I'll post a complete mod with pictures later, but for now I'll tell you some approx. stats:

Range: I shot it 30ft straight and it hit my wall. I'm assuming it will go about 60ft.
Accuracy: Not the best because my barrel isnt 100% straight, but that isn't anything I can't fix.
Mod Difficulty: The mod was a pain in the ass since I had to sand out the middle of a CPVC coupler (and cut up the inside of the case), but it was well worth it.
