it is not technically a mod because you didn't open up the gun you just slapped some recon parts on and you are going to paint it black

So basically, your just glueing the bright green "tactical light" to the side of an LS? And I don't think the Recon barrel really helps, seeing as how you have the red dot sight glued where the bipod was. And a friendly tip, fix your grammar too. Mods can be slightly harsh about that.

Additionally, the recon barrel will hurt your ranges.

So... you are going to glue the two worst parts of the recon (other than the recon itself) on to a longshot. The crappy red pointer couldn't help you hit the broad side of a barn, and if you look at the dart going down the recon barrel, it hits the sides and knocks about 2-5 feet off your range. Don't waste the glue and time by doing this.

Edit: i did not mean to post this as a reply to 1000 zombies. It is a reply for ODST_Shane

Cut him some slack! If you want to do it, go for it! You don't need our permition.

All he's got to do is roll it around in his fingers to start it getting hard and put in in the hole.

I feel that attaching the recons light is a waist of space since it only reaches a maximum of 25 feet. Not to mention, your not going to be playing in the dark. If you are, I wish you the best of luck. Anyway I suggest you dont use the recon barrel as it decreases range and instead of attaching the light you can attach another gun as seen here.

Exactly. So since he doesn't need our permission he should've just done it in the first place and not bothered to post it. That's what you're saying isn't it?

I see this as a total waste of time IMHO. It does nothing to enhance the function of the gun.
Now don't get me wrong, as seen by my own work I'm all for making a blaster look bad assed. However none of my paint jobs are even considered until the gun has been modded to the point where it deserves to look badassed.
If your mods take away from the performance of the gun then they are worthless and waste your time.

Adding an additional barrel extension does nothing but cut into ranges dramatically. This can be countered with an Angel breach a telescoping brass barrel. or a front brass barrel that is extra long in contrast to the 1ft lengths that brass usually comes in.

Adding the tact light could in some perspectives add some aesthetic value to it. IMO the space could be used for much more functional intergrations.
For example. If you want that look. Id intergrate a A2k into the light housing and then intergrate that (still being able to disassemble the whole thing as tho it were stock or at least near) to the front of the LS.

Then for those times that your LS just can't nail that range you are trying to hit. You have a sneaky long range shot waiting for someone.

Forgive my spelling and grammar. I post from my cell phone a lot. Sometimes when I'm on the can at work.
