New Longshot Mod/integration

I did the normal nods to the LS, consisting of, removing air restrictors and replacing the spring. I only put a BBB spring insted of the BBB/LS combo (a bit too strong for me wee hands).
Ranges consult of the following:
59'
53'
71'
57'
61'
273'
Average LS range: 60.2'
Not bad for just the removal of air restrictors, BBB spring replacement, and no replacement barrel (soon to come).
Ranges of the sidearm integration:
42'
37'
32'
33'
33'
Average LS sidearm range: 35.4'
Not bad either considering its basically the same internals as a Scout or Crossfire. I only removed air restrictors and inserted a brass barrel.
The sidearm is basically ment for a last minute weapon when the LS runs out of ammo and there's not enough time to reload.
In order to fire the sidearm, all you need to do is pull the LS trigger.
A simple metal bar made from a coat hanger that attaches from the LS sidearms trigger to the LS main trigger.
Just cock the sidearm when all the LS plunger is at rest for a single fire, or cock the sidearm and the LS for a double fire.
Still looking for a name. Haven't really been able to come up with one yet.
Questions, comments, criticism, and ideas are welcomed.
Thanks.

Did it take a lot of dremeling to fit the LS side arm in that area?
That is coolest LS mod yet.

I was half tempted to do this as well until I came up with something else that will be using that space.
It looks as though there was mor trimming done to the sidearm than to the main body of the LS. That whole section is fairly empty and is quite easy to cut off without effecting the rest of the gun.Did it take a lot of dremeling to fit the LS side arm in that area?

Quite a lot. But, most of it was done very cafefully with a hacksaw and minor dremeling to make things nice.
Like Capt. Slug said, more work was done to the sidearm then anything else.
I had originally done this mod to the sidearm when I noticed well it would fit in the area where the bipod was. So, I pulled out the dremel and hacksaw once more and got to work.
EDIT: The ranges were tested all with stock darts!!!

Second of all, I suggest using shotgun stefans in the lower gun for variety and close-range punch (somewhat like the 870 shotguns attached to some M4 carbines).
Finally, I have a few name suggestions that augment Enigma's idea: Thor, Hephaestus, or Hades.
Great job on this, very clean and practical.

It's disturbingly clean. Seriously, this looks like a stock blaster.

Underside pump action shot cannon raises attack power of the LS +10
Clean integration of extension blaster raises user capatibility with the LS +10
That is bad ass. I can't comprehend how clean it is too. This ladys and gentlemen is the Longshot's true form.

Two shots from the LS, one from the sidearm, and the last is a double shot.
Sorry for the bad quality and crappy lighting. I'll have a better vid up by tomorrow when it's light outside.
As for the brass, its not too long, it's just not shoved all the way into the barrel of the sidearm.
Thanks for all your compliments.

I just noticed the "273" in your ranges.
Haha. Pretty funny.

I may have just soiled myself.
But anyway, that is awesome, Dart Attack. You have just convinced me to
buy a Longshot. (I was still getting one anyways.)
When you really think about it, this forum is still pretty darn tootin' good. It's like any family; we have a mix of brains, 'tards, jocks, geeks, hos, burners, waistoids, dickheads.

If it is possible could you do a more descriptive write up?
Things like highlighted pics where you made your cuts is the only thing missing I think.
I would love to add this to the Mods directory.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I integrated the Longshot sidearm (front gun) into the Longshot where the bipod used to be.
That's EXACTLY what I was going to do! You did a great job executing that modification integration. Well done.
I don't know if I'll still do the same thing, because it won't be as unique, but I'll be doing something similar.

Oh, well if you shove if all the way in, it should improve the range even more.Vid
