OK, folks. We are going to be making a 6-shot, coupler-based turret, and slapping it on a NF. A lot of credit goes to Bobafan; I dug his concept out of the "miscellaneous" section of the mod directory. I simplified the design, using all PVC components.

First, the NF. All this is pretty standard, so I won't spend too much time on it; lose the restrictors and the barrel, and glue a 1/2" CPVC coupler onto the stub that used to plug into the barrel. I dremmeled my coupler slightly, so it seats over this stub for a more secure fit. Improve the seal, and rip out that useless light; this turret will not fit without minimization. Cut the shell just behind the swelling that used to house the light. Essentially, you want to take the top blaster, and turn it into the bottom blaster:

Now that the gun is ready, we can move onto the interesting bit: the turret. Take 6 3" cpvc barrels, and glue them evenly around a 1/2" sched. 40 pvc coupler (the coupler could be replaced with an equivalent length of 3/4" pvc). Make sure that the right amount of barrel protrudes beyond the lip of the coupler; you want it to fully engage with the coupler on the front of the blaster, but not get stuck. The left side will engage with the blaster.

Dremel a bit of 1/2" pvc out until you can glue a 4" piece of cpvc in (conversely, you could simply use a cpvc coupler). Mount this under the coupler on the blaster. I wrapped mine in e-tape to cut down on rattling.

Dremel a small ring of pvc out until it can barely fit over the 4" cpvc rod. You should have to tap it on. This will retain the turret. Slide the turret over the rod.

Almost done. Tap the pvc ring over the tip of the guide rod, and you're all set.

To advance the turret, just pop it out of the coupler, rotate, and pop the new barrel right back in. This turret gives a good ROF, without losing air. Plus, it's cheap as hell. Questions? Comments? Hurtful Sarcasm?

Cool mod, I just wish I had the proper materials in modding weapons. Are ranges still the same w/ normal NFs?

So it's like my cpvc turret but a different axle system.

I have sense changed the design a bit. Lynx bought this one.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

Bobafan: Yeah, I linked to your design at the top of the writeup. It's a great concept; simple, cheap, and near-infinitely customizable. Lynx's looks nice, as well. I actually put a bigger version on my SNAPbow:

The link isn't working. Nice snap. How does the longer version of the turret hold up? Is it wobbly at all?
I have slammed my NF on the ground without it breaking, I wasn't sure how it would be larger.
Also, how is the weight? I made up a breach fer my bbb because I thought this might be too heavy.

The link should be fixed now. The longer version works beautifully; it's built around a length of 3/4" pvc, features 10" barrels, is and attached via careful hot gluing with e-tape reinforcement to a threaded adaptor, which screws into the SNAP. The weight isn't bad, but then again, I'm unfamiliar with the BBB, and the SNAP is beyond sturdy, when properly constructed.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

It's Lynx...

The NF is just so beastly. I shot that compared to my fucked up BBB and it shoots the same distance.

CPVC turret + Ace49 = Beastly NF.
