I need to know if I picked up the right lubricant. The brand is Liquid Wrench. The spray can say this:
"Liquid Wrench Heavy-Duty Silicone Lubricant". Did I buy the right Liquid Wrench or did I get something bad?

I believe there is nothing wrong with that lubricant. I have never had problems with it before.

I guess you have some heavy duty industrial strength toilet paper holders. Do they advise you to wear eye protection when changing rolls?

You know, for a second there I thought this thread would get unnecessarily sexual...

But no, you purchased the right stuff.

I'm going to use it om my PumpShot Gun and I don't want it to dry out. I know FA_24 said to get Master Plumber but mt Lowes has no idea what that is. Whats a good lubricant that won't dry out quickly?

Well Vaseline doesn't dry out but I heard it kills o-rings somehow so if your using it on o-rings...well don't.
If not, ^

Oh and if you have access to where you need to put the lube, for example if you needed to lube an NF and there were no air restrictors on the barrel, you could always just spray lubricant down the barrel so it gets in the chamber. OR you could keep an airtight seal on the chambers so the lube doesn't dry out.

I use silicone paste for brakes. It helps with seal, lubes and won't eat o-rings.

Also, since its a paste, a little bit on the plunger head will hit EVERYTHING and lube EVERYTHING.

Do it after you are completely done modding since it does attract dust.

I took the other stuff back and got something else. It is called "Plumbers Silicone Grease". Will this stuff work and will it last for more then a day?

It's the same stuff I use, just with a different name. It's like a clear-milky goo. Apply it with a finger liberally (and I mean LIBERALLY) and run the plunger up and down the tube to get it coated, then pull it out and put a little more on before you put it back together. A warning though, this stuff will make the inside of your plunger tube sticky, so be careful not to get dirt, dust, metal filings, etc in it.

The stuff you had before does not dry out in a day. Not anywhere near that. I haven't opened up my Pump Shotgun in months and it still works fine and maintains a good seal. The same goes for plenty of other guns I use.
