Supplies
Hacksaw
hot glue
Yeah this is a write up for the hidden shot and it is really easy.
Very complicated inside and has very tiny parts so I advise not to open it up, you don't need to anyways.
If you do open it up here is a pic.
Then take your hacksaw and cut it like you would a sspb so you have this little orange ring (about .5 cm away from the bottom of the barrel). Pull it out.
Next cut about 2.5-3" of cpvc and glue it on.
Ranges
My highest was about 34' here I used a cdtd.
My lowest was 7' that was because of a really bad stefan.
Most of the stefans landed around 20-30'.

Whoops! I just realized what I thought was the barrel was a shadow, so in fact your barrel is not crooked. Nevertheless, the glue job is fugly. Is that only hot glue?

And I will follow up by saying that the barrel does indeed look straight.
I like your instructions on what parts of the gun to tear out. It looks like a screw-up there would likely ruin something.
I've never seen a Hidden Shot before. If I get one, I'll try to do this because I like using CPVC barrel replacements. Thanks!

I like this mod. I liked having the extra bit of original barrel, but this is probably more efficient. Also, great job on the first photo, it took me three tries (my first mod) to realize that the orange thing had to go there. I was a huge noob. With a replacement spring, you can squeeze 50 feet out of one of these. This gun's catch spring is crap, so if you decide to further modify yours, remember to replace it! Great job!

Is that only hot glue?
I can vouch for hot glue on a barrel replacement. All of my barrel replacements have been done with hot glue,

Hot glue is good for stablizing, plumbers goo is better for sealing. Is that only hot glue?
I can vouch for hot glue on a barrel replacement. All of my barrel replacements have been done with hot glue,in fact I worship hot glue.Hot glue is one of my favorite adhesives. It has great strength if used correctly. I have had some of my guns for a year and the barrel is still holding up. It's all personal preference though.

Nice job on the gun though, pretty decent ranges for its size, definately not a primary though.

karpenter63 Yes that is only hot glue.
BendyStraw Yeah I messed up when I opened it and found out there was nothing to do because this was just a simple ar removal and barrel replacement.
Thomas What would you replace the catch spring with and what would you replace the spring with?
