Is anyone hosting an Illinois Nerf War in the northen suburbs around des plaines, buffalo grove(or near chicago) etc.
I've never been to a real organized nerf war, but I have an extremely good NF so I want to try it in battle!

I've been considering hosting a war here in the Western Suburbs, but nothing has been planned.

That's about it for Illinois. If you are up for it, you can travel to Glane, Spano, or the Summer Ohio War.

Other than that, there is nothing.

I live in Naperville, and might consider hosting a nerf war near me....

Why don't we try to have one closer to the Missouri border, i know several people from Missouri might be willing to road trip out there.

I know 5 or six people that would be up for a war in Rockford. It's an hour and a half from Naperville, but about the same distance from Missouri.

Maybe you should all try congregating in our states great capital: Springfield. Springfield is closer to St. Louis than it is to Chicago or Rockford.

Springfield's way to far for me. My folks probably won't let me go anywhere much more than a half hour away, and I'm sure it's the same for the other five or six that would come with. I hate it, but that's the way it is. So I can set something up here, or you can set something up near here, but that's it for me.

EDIT: Are there any good places to Nerf in Springfield? From what I've seen when I go there(at least once a year) there's not many place that look Nerf-worthy. Then again, I don't live there, and I'm sure there's more than I've seen.

There are a few nice small parks in the area, and my school has a "wildlife habitat" that would be ideal.

I'm near Lake Zurich, if anyone knows where that is. I wouldnt mind a war near missouri border though, I have friends in carbondale i could stay with..

I go to school at Truman State in Kirksville and I might be able to get some guys together for a missouri war but I don't know about road tripping all the way to the Chicago region. Mainly because we are very poor and busy college students and most of my friends are into the HvZ scene and not actual nerf wars. However there is always hope.

Oh snap he did! I didn't even realize, and its still no where near as bad as some of the ones ive seen!

Anyways, Springfield would be great since I am probably going to MSU in a year. We may be able to
go a bit farther, but with gas the way it is I'm not sure It would be worth it.
