Star Wars Battlefront Blaster Rifle. (My parents are really strict about video games. I am 13, yet I can't play M rated games. What's up with that?) And I just plain suck at war games like Ghost Recon, Socom, Call of Duty, etc.
EDIT: I also forgot about Jak and Daxter, so from that, probably the Vulcan, or the peacemaker. And why don't you make a list of pupular games, and then have us choose out favorite weapon from that game.

Not quite a weapon, but I love the portal gun from, you guessed it, Portal.

The gameplay mechanics involved with that thing are just ridiculous - and quite fun.


After that, it would be the Frag Grenade in any Halo game. Around-the-corner-boom-goes-the-badguy is just so much fun! (and that little "tink-tink" sound it makes as it bounces just fills me with joy)

My favorite gun on R&C2 is the HK22.

I got several favorite weapons from several games.....
The PPC (partical projector cannon) and Gauss rifle from mechworrior 4
pulse rifle, smart gun, and grande launcher from AVP2: primal hunt (highly recommended game)
the plasma sword from halo
the portable lazer gun from half-life
N.I.C.W. rifle and nanotech machine gun pistol from red faction 2
Rico's gaint machine gun, anti-tank gun, and grenade pistol from killzone
and that gun that shoots mini-rockets at rapid fire rate from Duke Nukem 3D....

Ah, the good ol' Devastator. That gun was ridiculous. I loved it!

Of course, Mr. Nukem had access to several other great guns in that game:

The classic RPG - KABOOM!!!

The Shrinker (make your enemy small, then STEP ON THEM!)

The Freeze Ray (freeze them solid, then launch a kick to shatter them into tiny bits)

I particularly like the sentinal beam from halo, and the longshot from GOW is quite fun.

My favorite is the Halo 3 Battle Rifle and right after that the Lancer from GOW. I love that chainsaw.

Chainsaw (Again noobs, it is from the original)
Cerebral bore (Turok)
Mp5Navy (CS:CZ I am too damn good with this)
Gauss rifle (Mech series especially MechCommander (crazy good))
Portal gun (Gameplay+Me=hours of me being happy)

Man Ratchet and Clank is the best series ever. And the I have to agree with you, the HK22 is also my favorite gun.

I love worms. I use the homeing pigeon a lot. I also like the P-90 and the mark 9 ( the helicopter grenade launcher) from COD4. And the sentinal from 007 nightfire.

I play Halo CE, 2, and 3 pretty exclusively. M6D Pistol from Halo CE is my favorite. As Vociferous on the Ascendant Justice blog so eloquently put it, "The piece of God's throne that was subsequently lost".

Pretty much anything from Unreal tourney, can't remember the name of it but it launched a big missile that kills everything.

And the green Koopa shell in Mario Kart. Its really embarrassing when someone gets you with it.

The only reason I ever wanted a PS3 was just for the new Ratchet and Clank game. I really wish it was for XBox, I miss that game. It's easily one of my favorite series of all time. Every single gun in any one of those games is amazing. I remember using Dual Raptors with a freeze mod in Deadlocked a lot. Owned with the rapid fire bouncing bullets.
From Worms, my favorite weapons were the Holy Hand Grenade, the Super Sheep, and the old grandma bomb thing.
On the subject of Worms, does anyone know if World Party or Armageddon will run on Vista?
And from Halo, it's not really a gun, but I LOVE the firebombs. Lighting someone on fire then watching their body fall to the ground as they let out this funny sounding scream is both hilarious and satisfying.
Edit: Can't forget the Flak Cannon from the UT series, specifically Unreal Championship 2.
