This is for all of you who don't have the time or money to make a +bow. It is an L.I.D. inside of a minimized +bow shell.
Insted of using plastic materials in the original +bow, I used foam sheets.

Each layer is reinforced with double sheets. The three templates you need from the original write-up are the trigger template, the template with the + on it, and the barrel template. Print out two of each. Glue them onto the foam sheet and cut them out. Then make as many as you need to make it strong.
Here is a picture of the gun.

it does have a trigger, here is a picture of it primed.

The handle is filled with foam insulation.

It has a standard clothespin trigger.

This is a picture of the L.I.D. Barrel. The plans have varied since the last L.I.D. The barrel is longer than before to support the length of the templates.

I plan on leaving this white because I have already named it White Lightning

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

Fun. That's one way to get the intimidation factor of the +bow without actually making one.

The foam board seems a bit, flimsy, though...
Maybe you should make a stock for it.

That is one of the coolest pistols I have ever seen! And it's shell is basically made of foam too. That's cool. Did you put in a more powerful spring since the last LID? If so, what kind, and ranges?

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

Interesting, and fun. I can vouch that foam board is pretty sturdy when it comes to crushing it from end to end (not bending it). But I wouldn't trust it too much... Atleast it'll be cheap to replace.

Nice work, ranges would be nice.

I'm gonna make a custom L.I.D. using craft-plastic... Damn that's nice.

Bomberman- I didn't put in a new spring since the last L.I.D. The longer air chamber has increased ranges though.

OfAllTheNerf- Ranges are: 55ft, 58ft, 47ft, 50ft. These were recorded with a stock tagger dart. I just want to say now, I don't need high ranges because the people I play with don't want to use stefans and they want to keep welts from happening.

GreenBuckshot- Are you making an L.I.D. or an L.I.D. +bow? When you finish, I'd like to see your pictures, so feel free to post them in either topic.

Making it look vaguely like a +bow does not in any way make it a +bow. A +bow is modular, durable, and built to produce rather ridiculous levels of performance and consistency.

So its (baisicly) just a cool shell for a snap?

Yeah, because the actual +bow parts are intended to be structural, not decorative.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I know what you mean, I just thought it would be cool to make something that looked like a gun I would never have the time or money to make. I also made it for those who wanted to have such a cool looking gun but also didn't have time or money to make one. If you want me to change the name to something else because its not a real +bow, I can.

And a dash of love.

What find of foam is that. Is it some kind of tougher stuff than normal craft foam?

I'm not sure exactly what brand it is because I just found it in my brothers closet and he said I could have it. It gains it's strength from being two layers thick, and the layers being joined with hot glue. The hot glue hardens and it reinforces it even more.
