Insted of using plastic materials in the original +bow, I used foam sheets.
Each layer is reinforced with double sheets. The three templates you need from the original write-up are the trigger template, the template with the + on it, and the barrel template. Print out two of each. Glue them onto the foam sheet and cut them out. Then make as many as you need to make it strong.
Here is a picture of the gun.
it does have a trigger, here is a picture of it primed.
The handle is filled with foam insulation.
It has a standard clothespin trigger.
This is a picture of the L.I.D. Barrel. The plans have varied since the last L.I.D. The barrel is longer than before to support the length of the templates.
I plan on leaving this white because I have already named it White Lightning

The foam board seems a bit, flimsy, though...
Maybe you should make a stock for it.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

OfAllTheNerf- Ranges are: 55ft, 58ft, 47ft, 50ft. These were recorded with a stock tagger dart. I just want to say now, I don't need high ranges because the people I play with don't want to use stefans and they want to keep welts from happening.
GreenBuckshot- Are you making an L.I.D. or an L.I.D. +bow? When you finish, I'd like to see your pictures, so feel free to post them in either topic.

Yeah, because the actual +bow parts are intended to be structural, not decorative. So its (baisicly) just a cool shell for a snap?

I know what you mean, I just thought it would be cool to make something that looked like a gun I would never have the time or money to make. I also made it for those who wanted to have such a cool looking gun but also didn't have time or money to make one. If you want me to change the name to something else because its not a real +bow, I can.Making it look vaguely like a +bow does not in any way make it a +bow. A +bow is modular, durable, and built to produce rather ridiculous levels of performance and consistency.

And a dash of love.
What find of foam is that. Is it some kind of tougher stuff than normal craft foam?
