The Ironman FF's also don't have the strobe that is in the regular one, and the darts they come with are useless... I got mine on sale though and with a bit of modding they turn out alright

Just to every Aussie nerfer, what sort of foam with what type of barrel do you use? While 1/2" FBR is widely available in the US perhaps we should all start modding barrels to accept FBR locally available (10/12/15mm).

20mm Wall Electrical Conduit (Greyish u-PVC) - Fits some 15mm FBR, also fits stock megas quite well.

20mm Underground Electrical Conduit (Orange u-PVC) - Tighter than Wall Conduit, Fits most 15mm FBR, stock Megas a bit tighter. Fits the white 15mm FBR found at Bunnings.

16mm Wall Electrical Conduit (Greish u-PVC) - Tightly fits stock Micros, fits thin batches of 13mm or thick 10mm. Fits inside 20mm WEC.

16mm Aluminium Round Tube, as found in most Bunnings stores - The Al tube I use for my modifications, featured in my Longshot write-up, fits most 13mm FBR, loosely seats stock Micros. Good for airguns. It's probably about 1/64" larger than K&S 9/16" brass.
Available in 1m and 3m lengths, between $4.5 and $5.5. Fits inside 20mm WEC and 16mm WEC's respective couplers.

9/16" K&S, 17/32", well you know how it goes.

Most WECs will fit inside the next size up. This is useful for creating breaches, but annoying when you're trying to attach it to the plumbing PVC.

K&S 9/16" + Buzzbee suction/stock - Best fit to date
K&S 17/32" + stock NF black tips - Nearly as good as BB+9/16"
K&S 9/16th + Modman red FBR - Slightly looser than two previous
K&S 17/32" + 12mm Bunnings FBR = As good as 9/16" + modman FBR
K&S 9/16" + streamline = Slightly looser than 9/16 + modman FBR
K&S 9/16" + stock maverick darts = Slightly tighter than 9/16 + modman FBR
K&S 9/16" + Dart tags = 9/16 + modman FBR
I mainly stick to brass since it can make breeches and 12" length long enough for springer barrels. How thick are WEC walls?
I quiet like those Buzzbee darts and 9/16", the fit is nearly perfect. Any one else want to provide some info on their barrel+dart configs?

Hey Guys,

I thought my first post should be in the Aus thread.

I live in melbourne so this will only be helpful to a handful of you.
I can say that i have seen night finders mavericks and recons in Toys'r'us at Knox city. Aa well as a shotgun by what brand I'm not sure as well as dart tag.

I've also heard rumors that they have a few vulcans for 80 bucks as well.

The mavs are about $15
Nf's range from $10 to $20
And sadly the recons are at $50 they also have a LongShot Scope on them.
The shotguns are $22 and they are actually not bad for the price good range except that shells are really hard to come by.
The dart tag I'm not sure.

Iv been trying to find spare ls or recon clips and bags of streamlines. If anyone in Melbourne has seen them and could point me in the right direction that would be sweet.

Also im on the hunt or a FF but havnt been able to find one anywhere any more, any ideas guys?

You wont find streamlines or clips in Australia at this point in time. Apparently the N-Strike Clip pack (2 x clip + 10 streamlines) is on the way and should start appearing within the next month, so keep a look out for them.

Vulcans are available from TRU's and yes they are $80

Kmarts and Targets are your best bet for FF's, keep in mind they will be Iron Man variants...

The Shotguns u mentioned is a buzzbee one I believe, I'd stay away from it personally

Yeah most BuzzBee stuff is junk, but there is some okay stuff out there, IMO.

If someone gives you a BuzzBee gun, or any gun that is painted ALL BLACK like so...


This is usually the best modification for it.

Well this is gunna be bad then i picked myself up a buzz bee shotty yesterday.
I planned to mod the crapper out of it.... sadly looks like i wont be modding much.

But Just some bob is right the thing looks wicked cool a coat of my mettalic charcoal and some highlights and im sure it wont be 2 shabby.

On the topic of those clips anyone seen the spare ones or at least the orange shells that go with them i cant seem too find them any where anymore all though im sure i saw them when i first started looking at nerfs.

The "free" scope seems to be a TRU exclusive. Target gets 20 extra darts (yay!). Myer and Kmart gets nothing.

Hey lads, First off merry Christmas 2 all, hope Santa has longshots for all... I WISH!!!

Anywayz, I recently bought a titan and hornet combo and have began modding it like FA24's beast, also spotted big blasts at TRU for 24 and chadstone during Christmas sales. As well i found a empty shelf with a ripped price tag on it but it hard recon reload pa.. the rest was ripped so I'm not sure but could be the elusive reload packs we have been searching for. So keep your eyes pealed when your out on Boxing day because you may just stumble onto them.

Just thought I'd update, anyone else buy something new and awesome lately???

Afternoon Aussies. hope you haven't been trampled at Boxing day sales

when i went to Chaddy TRU during 24H madness, they had bugger all in stock. i'm gonna head to Knox TRU to see if they got any.

Kinda happy i got my laybys =]. 2 recons, a Hulk kit and a Firefly from Targets. the not so happy bit is my other present to myself.. damn lego giving me the wrong piece ;__;

About the Firefly, it seems like their darts are different. i gotta find my camera (and a reader.. damn XD cards) but it looks a little different. stock darts from the hornet work better too ...


EDIT: knox had some Hulk Titan + Hornet kits and some big blasts, but that's about it. no reloads of any

Kmart (At least Kmart burwood East in Victoria) has 20% off NERF stuff. they've got Mavericks, and some new dart tagger that i havn't seen locally, and longshot/recon refils.
