Has anyone addressed the issue of hosting our out of start or international attendees? For that matter, do the out of staters and internationals have their travel plans figured out yet?

We have most if not all of it planned out right now, though Angel may be able to fill you guys in. I now have the money for my passport, so I'm going to get that done this week. At least that's the situation for us Canadians.

The Canadians will be driving down to Rambo's place. Just like last year. From there we will drive to Jersey in the morning for the war. Possibly with Rambo.

If anyone needs help finding a suitable place to stay, shoot me a PM. I cannot offer the services of my home, but I can help you find somewhere that leaves you easy access to major roads and the war site. You can also use hotwire.

It looks as if Blink will not be joining us. It has been weeks since he has responded to either a pm or E-mail.

However:
You can add one more to the list of Canadians confirmed.
Josh, Cousin of Cardiac Kid will be coming as well.
He came to Hell with us and had a blast.
That means we are six strong.
Twice as many Canucks as last year.
We are growing.

As of this moment, we have 34 confirmations and 19 maybes. That leaves us with a max of 53, and most likely ~44 attendees. If you are lurking and interested, now is the time to start arranging travel (if you haven't done so already) and get your blasters in working order.

This is going to be a huge war yet again. We're going to need your cooperation to make sure things run smoothly. Follow directions and we'll keep the day moving at a good pace. If you act like a moron, don't expect to have an open invite next year. If you piss us off, there are enough admins in attendance that one of us is bound to suspend you. You can find your responsibilities as an attendee in the first post. Don't act like a moron and this should be a really fun day.

I haven't played Nerf in over 2 years...put me on the list as a maybe. I need to see if I can mod a few guns, and get a few friends to come along, but I'm going to try for sure!

By the way, does anyone know where I can crash for cheap? Camp grounds, a hammock, etc. I'd like to kitesurf the next day considering this is right next to Kite Island!

HAHA The second picture on that page made me laugh so hard. Oh my god that's hilarious. It's like a 4 square foot pile of sand! Lol. So funny.

The fourth one is the closest one with camping at about 40 minutes away. Hope this helps. Doubt it. NJ isn't really a place with many state parks, and for good reason I think.

Double edit: Actually, looking at the county right above that one, there's a state park with camping at the bottom tip of it, in a town called cheesequake: http://www.state.nj....heesequake.html
It's only a half hour away, but it might or might not be a better choice depending on where you're coming from. It's north of Deal, as opposed to south west of it.

I honestly recommend a hotel/motel or something. It'll be $20 to camp and with gas prices as they are (and who knows how they will be come August), since both of those parks are out of the way, it'll make a huge difference (either go to and setup, then go to Deal, then come back, and go to Kite Island, or go to Deal, go setup camp, next day to Kite Island). That's like $60+ worth of gas, making a $50-60 motel room much more practical.
