First of all, does it fit in your pocket like it was meant to? It seems that the barrel is to long and the handle is too long.
Frankly, it was never ment to fit in my pocket. Once I cut down the pump shaft it should be able to be put into a holster with little/no problems. The barrel is changeable so that's not a problem, you could keep a short 3 inch barrel for stock darts, or a single 6 inch for stefans/streamlines. Until the 24th, I won't really know how skrimishable this mod is.
Once I've found a reason for this mod, I'll let you guys know. Because all I can really say right now is that when I first saw the internals of the AT2k I thought "What if I get rid of this tube and use the pump as a handle...?"
I may buy that NF shell off of Ompa, but that'll require ALOT of dremelling and right now my first priority is to get money for some FBR and weights.
Second off all, do you have a problem with the pump sliding down/out of the tube when you are pointing the blaster at something?
Actually, that is no problem. Even without any modification, the pump shaft will not slide out on it's own. That would be a problem is if it got caught on something, but even shaking the gun real hard, it won't come out.
*Edit* All things granted, this is really just a proof of concept. It could be done ALOT better...
