I just bought a new LS from Tarjay to do that. By the way, the Target in Mt. Kisco, NY has recons in clearance. I got one of those too.

About the loudness: did you fill it with FBR to damper the noise?

Well, most of the noise comes form the turbines part of the gun, which really can't be dealt with in any realistic manner.

The real trick is keeping the thing quiet enough that it doesn't announce your presence to the whole world when it is turned on.

Yeah it's hard. The thing sounds like a damn hair dryer.

You probably didn't notice, but the last post in this thread was from over a month ago. The densiens of this forum generally erotically massage necroing (as its called) old topics unless it is in a stickied thread or you have a major new contribution (for example: you are the OP and have completed the mod that you started the thread to get help on). In the future, check the date on the last post (be sure to check the year too, that can trip you up sometimes, 367 days is a lot more than two) and you will be less likely to get flamed/suspended by the less lenient posters/mods (respectively).
EDIT: just saw your edit. I'm glad that you realized what you did, and that it was wrong. Editing to apologize is also a nice move.

Sorry about adding up to this, but I think the deadline is about 2-3 months, not a month. A month is pretty light compared to the many threads that are about a year old that sometimes appear at the first page once in a while.

Kalex, this thread was over a month old you it is considered dead. What you did is called a necro, or bringing it back to life. That is generally extremely erotic by the NIC and admins, so in the future check the post date , and if it is over a month old, pm the writer unless you have something useful to add.

The T20 is still finicky and picky with darts. This just increases it's efficiency. A lot.

If u wanted it to look completely awesome you should cut off the barrel and add a smaller brass barrel. You should consider painting it too.

He couldn't add a new barrel. The T20 doesn't work like most Nerf guns. There is a small plunger in the revolving part that hits the back of the dart, sending it into the 'barrel'. It then goes in between the two flywheels, which propel it forward. Therefore, he cannot add a new barrel.
