That's not really fair. People weren't criticizing ice's idea because they thought it was silly or didn't respect him. They were criticizing it because, based on an evident misunderstanding, they thought that it would end in a compressed-air shrapnel bomb.

No, I like to criticize ice because he is silly and I don't respect him. Just kidding... mostly.

Ok, so I'm not at home at the moment, and I forgot to take pics last night, but I'll try to get them tonight. I built the PVC containment unit, and it's working great (I haven;t attached it to anything yet), but I need a system to pump in which I don't have to take off the whole vacuum to pump it up. I haven;t attached it to the vacuum yet, so the pumping methode is open for tweaking the shell of the vacuum to get it to work. Also, the pvc only takes up one side of the vacuum pack, and because the bottoms flip open, I'm sealing off the other side as well, but rather then using it to hold air and make a gun out of it, I'm using it to hold darts, because I should be able to fit around 100 taggers in there.
Any pump suggestions before I got further?

Im not sure why everyone wants Ice to die.

It's the Underarmor, no one likes it.

He's learned, he is wearing a t-shirt.

Considering the vacum cant hold pressure, why still use the vacum?

ok. Here's the plan. take that jet pack thing and strap it to your back. Then chop the bottom half of the vaccum up and fashion some boots out of the parts. then take some card board and spray paint it with metallic red and gold paint grab yourself a NRF and BlaM! You're Iron Man.

Ok seriously, cool find and it was a decent idea but I dunno seems like a lot of work for little return. Unless you can pull it off and get decent pressure out of it. I think you would be better off gutting the pack and running a couple Magstrike bladders in it. should give them plenty of room to expand and be safer then whatever you were thinking.

Forgive my spelling and grammar. I post from my cell phone a lot. Sometimes when I'm on the can at work.

I'm with CS here; I still don't understand why you'd go through all of the effort to house the PVC which would work on it's own into a bulky plastic case that quite honestly looks worse than a PVC backpack would. You can easily add straps to the PVC and most likely strap them together to make it less cumbersome than the plastic case is now.

Is it really just for looks?

I'm with TS. In fact, the vac-pack or whatever it is honestly makes you look like a d-bag. I get the feeling you'd get laughed out of the place if you went to Geddon with that thing. It's like bringing a Mech Tommy 20.

But there is a benefit: If you want to go ahead with this, you'll need to look like Iron Man. In that case, you'll have to cut your hair.

I hope I wasn't too subtle...

You're such a nerf gun racist.

(The MT20 isn't that bad...)
