Well, I joined a year ago with the intention of helping and being helped by the NIC. Unfortunately, my efforts were stymied by my underqualifying age. I take no offense to that as I fully understand why there is an age minimum. So, with all that sentimental crap out of the way, it's time for my first original modification!

First off, I would like to say that this mod was heavily influenced by Gengar 003's awesome Shotgun cartrige add-on and ompa's original Titan singling mod . I thought they were both great mods, so I decided to put them together with my own little twist (having practically no commonly utilized materials).

I always like a little incentive in write-ups, so here's a picture of the finished product:

"Where's the shotgun add-on?" Patience young padawan. Actually you're almost definately older than me, but that's irrelevant.

WARNING: Read the whole write-up before attempting.

Materials

(top to bottom, left to right in the first picture)
1) Hacksaw
2) Krazy Glue pen ,or super glue
3) Gorilla Glue
4) Metal file (wood works just as well, but my metal file has 4 different levels of coarseness, not to mention I cant find the wood file)
5) Carpenter's square
6) 3 crayola, PETG, or 9/16 brass barrels, 3 inches long (not shown)
7) 9 inch piece of PETG, 9/16 brass, or thinwall sch 80 CPVC (not shown)
8) Longshot front gun extension barrel (not shown)
9) 3 pieces of 3 inch long FBR (not shown)
10) Hot glue (not shown)

Shotgun Stage
First step, cut off the front half inch or so of the Titan barrel. YOU MUST DO THIS, or the shotgun part will not work. Take the three 3 inch barrels and arrange them inside of the very front of the stock barrel. If they don't fit, either you didn't cut enough off the front or your barrels' walls are too thick. now stuff FBR or anything similar in the 3 outer cracks and hotglue it all to death. It may look a little sloppy, but if you lined up the barrels right and the whole thing's airtight, then it should work wonderfully.

Single Barrel Stage
Now, take the Longshot extension and remove the big, long, orange barrel at the top. Starting at the back, cut it off at about 3 inches. I advise that you mark the flat end (the part you didn't cut). Use the file to shorten the end you did cut, if necessary, and to remove the pieces of plastic sticking into the barrle that result from cutting. Also use the file very carefully to rough up the uncut end. Make sure you don't file so much that it ceases to be level. Then just Gorilla Glue it in place inside the small nub that the stock Titan barrel screws on to. I also used the Krazy Glue on the outside to add stability and to act as a "clamp" while the Gorilla Glue dried. All you have to do now is cross-drill holes in your 9 inch barrel (possible with a pocket knife). Use the carpenter's square to make sure it's level.

Operation
To fire the single shot, load your dart in the back of the long barrel. Simply insert it into the LS barrel, pump, and fire. For the shotgun or missile, take out the long barrel and screw on the stock Titan barrel. The best thing is, this requires no internal mods whatsoever and still achieves great performance.

Ranges
All ranges are flat, and all darts shoot in an almost perfect line

CDTS, 16 pumps:
114 feet
Streamline, 16 pumps: 68 feet
Custom Piercing dart : 117 feet
3 Custom piercing darts: ____#1: 40 ft____ #2: 53 ft____ #3: 57 ft____ about 3 foot spread

Here concludes the write-up for the Stryker arms SA-01B Prometheus.

So you modded your titan to be singled and a triflare? I think this has been done before.

Sure, it's been done before, but it's a nice writeup nonetheless. No need to be too condescending about it, eh?

Welcome back, nice to see there are at least a few competent younger members. Again, nice mod.

Thanks everyone, I know that it's been done before in a way (once again, Gengar 003, you rock), but I meant that mine is the first to incorporate missile, single fire, and tri-fire without the use of any couplers, dremel, or basically the things people with very limited supplies don't posses. In fact, the 9 inch barrel I used was actually part of the handle of my sister's rolling backpack...recycling all the way! Also with this thread I hoped to prove that not all 12/13 year olds are stupid morons, at least not on the internet <_< . All exaggeration aside, I've seriously seen 15+ year olds act worse than my 2 year old brother. Not that all teenagers are retarded either, or that there aren't dumb 12 year olds, I just mean to say that "tweens" really take a battering from the online community in general.

BTW, check out my website and Foam Universe , I've got a few more (2) mods there that I probably won't add here because of repetetivity. What a repetetive word repetetive is, I just realized that.

EDIT #2: I forgot to mention, when I fire the barrel flies out about 5 feet, but when I hold it in place the darts fishtail. This can be solved by a longer barrel or wrapping scotch tape around the barrel.

I don't really see the point of putting multi barrels on a titan. On my Titan, I just singled it with a 2 foot barrel. Then to shotgun it, just stuff 3-6 darts down the long barrel. Shoots nicely and is a lot easier than multi-barrels. Anyways, good job.

You could do that, but in my experience range is less, and there isn't much of a spread or accuracy (as much accuracy as you can get with a shotgun attachment...)

Anyways, Foam, good job. Nice and clear.

Along with what Of All' said, most wars don't allow singled titans, so it's better to multi-barrel them.

Notions of Directoryness?

Ha ha, Consider it done. Your work has been immortalized in the Directory.

Good work! If you can accomplish this at 12, I wonder what you would be able to create when you are in your late teens or older. I look forward to more of your stuff. This really proves that even people small and young enough for me to eat alive, can still be educational and serve a purpose.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Basically a different version of a CDTS, instead of a weight it has a barrel post sticking out the front. It was originally designed to let lower-powered guns pierce cardboard for easy target practice, but it turns out it's great in the Titan too. In the original post it's hyperlinked, click on that and scroll down to the end of the write-up.

Wait if he is 12 isn't that a violation of the code of conduct?

Considering he is turning 13 in a couple of days, I don't think it should matter, but that is my opinion. It is easy to miss when you have several hundred other assholes posting asinine topics to deal with. Could you find the needle in the haystack when someone is setting small fires all over the haystack you are looking in?

I just hate not being able to use those in wars. My titans a beast, its pretty much a loser rifle, and those elementary school kids don't like it when they get off the bus...

And does your barrel break alot? I tried doing that at one point, but it broke off every other day.

Hey dude! Nice writeup! I'm going to try this when I get my Titan! I might even integrate it into a longshot! I'm getting ahead of myself! I'm really new to the Nerf mod community and I am 13 so it makes me happy to see 12/13 year olds doing this stuff! I haven't made any mods on here yet but i have done a decent maverick with LED's integrated. All im saying is good job and keep doing what your doing!
