I carry "rush insurance" in the form of a modified magstrike (still needs new barrels) or RF20 with PETG barrels, hanging from a shoulder strap.

I use my mega'ed NF in a holster on one side and on the other I have a holstered SF.

I guess you have some heavy duty industrial strength toilet paper holders. Do they advise you to wear eye protection when changing rolls?

My TTG mod.

First Gen NF w/ CPVC coupler and 4" barrel set inside my homemade cardboard holster. Simple as that.

Guys, how the hell do you survive when you're carrying around a magstrike or BBB? Maybe if you play indoors... In my experience, you need as much versatility as you can get when you Nerf outdoors, and the ability to run FAST is always key.

Anyways, I make most of my primaries with another primary/secondary integrated into them, so most of the time I won't use a side arm. But if I'm using something like my maxshot (which rox) I'll use a coupler'd NF.

NF. The perfect sidearm, as far as I'm concerned. I'm planning to war next with an unmodded Magstrike and my NF, just for variety. If the Magstrike doesn't work out for me, I know the NF will carry me through.

I have three that I could use as sidearms: my Maverick, NF or the front gun from my first LS. Id like to get another DoubleShot though because the first one I have fires prematurely when I try to close it.

My NF. A CPVCed barrel, spring replaced in a Double Shot one, integrated SSPB. It kicks butt.

NF. Although if I had my tri-barreled ss1 here I'd use that instead. I'm actually hoping that the Recon will take the place of the NF as my sidearm of choice.

I also carry 2 RF20's strapped to my back, a Powerclip mounted on my shoulder, and a Titan strapped to my leg.

Kidding. However, I wouldn't mind seeing someone try that.

Yes, actually. It's a high-ROF low-mid range pistol. It would encourage a more... fun playing style for me. Of course, I wouldn't leave it stock or anything. I'd love a mid-high range high ROF pistol, but quite frankly, I don't see any out on the market right now. I'll be getting my hands on a Recon this Friday (hopefully), and I'm hoping there will be plenty to do with it.

For reference, I wear cargo pants. And only cargo pants (unless it's some *special occasion*), so I can fit even the more bulky pistols.

Well if anyone can make a Recon usable, that isn't Captain Slug or FA (although I thought he said he wasn't going to do anything special with it), it's probably you.

Currently: CPVC'd NF and/or short-barreled AT2k

Well if anyone can make a Recon usable, that isn't Captain Slug, it's probably you.

And what's Angel? Chopped liver?

No offense to Slug and Ompa, of course...by the way, nice to have you back, Ompa. I'm looking forward to your future projects.

I'd say a huge chunk of the people on this forum are more than capable of modding the gun well, some just don't have access to the materials/equipment, or just don't have the experience yet.

Angel would be able to mod this well with his eyes closed, judging on what I've seen him do on the forums as of late, as would various other members, including Carbon, Slug, and Piney.. Better modding capabilities just come with experience, and experience comes with time. I think with something as basic as nerf modding, talent comes second to experience. If I'm missing any names here, I'm really sorry; my mind is still going back through all the things I remember about NH, and I just posted the names that first came to mind.

As far as sidearms go I use my disk shot-cpvc'd, tek 6 and NF spring, and A NF plunger rod

Or my PPk'd NF cpvc'd nested inside reg pvc, tek6 spring, and new catch spring, that's in for now but it works.

If my tek 10 counts it would be that but if you consider to be to big for a sidearm I also use my nf alot.

I used to use my ar-removed ttg, but then i went to a friends house and never saw it again. <_< I wonder if he has anything to do with it? Any way, I also used my minimized cpvc barrel, ar-removed, spring added nf, but it broke. So now I am stuck with no sidearm, but am thinking about turning a disk shot into a .45 and scaring people. :D

If you Nerf in western washington, PM me

So you see a penguin walking down the street. Looks harmless right, so you keep on walking past him. You turn around to seem him walk away, only to find yourself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver.

I make a habit not to carry around too many guns. Maybe 1, 2 at the most. My secondary ranges from a NF to a CrossFire. I'll be getting a PS-800 soon, but that may well turn out to be a primary.

What's the news on that one? I just got one and I'm trying to come up with an overall plan.

+ Lathed a custom coupler and super-glued it to the end of the plunger tube
+ Obvious shell modification (to make space for coupler)
+ Bolted barrel to coupler
+ Spring replacement

What sort of spring would you recommend? I used a #49 because I had it lying around, but of course it's too short. Would an AR-15 spring fit?

1/3 of an AR 15 spring would fit. Slug generally just cuts them down to whatever length fits comfortably with his plunger.

Since my primary would be a singled titan, my secondaries would include strapping a magstrike on my back and a Nite-Finder in my pocket.
