I've been wondering for a while what an ar-15 spring, because I have heard of a gun called an ar-15 but i don't know if you are talking about a spring that is just called ar-15.
Pretty sure the spring is sold as a piece, and it does belong to a gun.

It's the action spring from an AR-15 (Which I think stands for Assault Rifle).I've been wondering for a while what an ar-15 spring, because I have heard of a gun called an ar-15 but i don't know if you are talking about a spring that is just called ar-15.
You can get them at gun shops or on the internet.

ArmaLite, actually. I've got an AR-15 spring, it's the perfect spring for an LS, NF, BBB and most other guns like that. Still, this makes me want to buy a #69 spring as well.
You can buy an AR-15 spring online for pretty cheap, depending on where you buy it.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A good nerf gun is like a good woman. It shouldn't require extra lubrication.

I've been toying with the idea of using a CNC machine to cut the pieces out of steel or aluminum. Instead of making a complex blueprint though, I could simply hand the gun's internals off to a friend of mine (or do it myself) and use the gun's internals as a template instead. That seems much easier to me.
I'll look into doing it and get back to you guys.
