Stuff I liked:
First of, I enjoyed it. It was fun to watch and after all thats the only reason to go see a flick like this. It was a cool action flick. I kinda liked the Zion battle. It was fun, kinda gave you a Mech Warrior on acid feel. I thought the superman fight at the end was mildly amusing, and I mostly liked that the fights sceens were short, to the point, and not distracting.
Stuff I didn't like:
As I've said before, I am a christian, but because of that I think I liked it less. The originality of this flick falls somewhere between meek and non-exsistant. It is done? Blind men? Neo being plugged by the machines in the shape of a cross? Putting Neo's dead body on a metal slab? The "Will we see him again?" bit? All of these, plus countless others and a nice little last supper scene, coupled for a two hour quazi-bible lesson. It's kinda cool that they did this, but it was too obvious.
As for other stuff, well there was very little. I liked that Trinity got to see the sky before she died, I liked that the Oricale switched bodies.
I kinda thought Trinity dying was long winded. I thought Neo came off as week when fighting Smith.
What I really didn't like about the movie is few and far between. I agree with both horsemen on this one though. Even though I liked this flick, I will not accept that it was a trilogy. The first one was amazing and should have been left at that. Great plot, great characters, great ending. What more do you want?
The last two flicks have shown through more then ever that they were cash cows. Although I enjoyed the final flick, it was not nessecary. The new characters were as weak as always, and the old ones were played too coldly. But all in all, it was ok, I didn't hate it. There you have it.
Now and forever more,
Talio.

True- Morpheus essentially cut through some of the fiberglass body of the car and then through the rubber tire. It was a badass scene, but I agree that to me it wasn't as good as numerous others. For instance, Luke and Vader's duel was better because of the emotional poignancy. The music there was also quite powerful, the vocal arrangement.Katana's don't cut cars in half.
But Morpheus blowing up the car by making it roll over and shooting its belly was pretty fun to watch, anyhow.

Yep. Exactly right. Not to say that The Matrix was meant to be real. But you have to draw the line somewhere. Stopping bullets implies Neo had some kind of power. A car blowing up implies it was running on something flamable. Since there is no story line about different fuel, I'm supposing the car was running on fossil fuel, and fossil fuel does not explode quite that violently. Neo stopping bullets is supported in the story line and is one of his powers.
Smoked bitch.
Neo is able to stop bullets because they are just object in the Matrix, and he is able to bend those rules. On the topic of the car blowing up, the general idea is that Morpheus shot at the gas tank to cause an explosion. However, it's very hard to believe that a couple of katanas can cut a car's door open, and that a car would simply tip over on a sharp turn. But, guys, you're forgetting one big, big thing...
It's Hollywood. They can do whatever the fuck they want.

Edit: Just read Grinch's( he posted right before me) post, and I agree. Hollywood does alot of crazy crap, like making Van Damme a millionare.
