After a few trips to the hardware store my guns should be ready. As for rides, I have to wait until anyone who might give me a ride figures out what they are doing that day. I might have a sports game in the morning, but I will just come a little later in that case.

As long as you actually come.

I've recently been informed this is the day of the Democrat Senate District Convention. Will that pose problems for anyone?

Ha Ha, good one Hilt.

Do you have a guess at how many people you'll be bringing?

Well, if my sister or one of her friends or even my dad takes me they will probably play some. My St. Paul friend might be able to show up. As for my closer clan-mates: Zudikas, Jack, and Steve might. But the problem is our young age, so their parents might be kinda weird about it. I am still not sure about myself, but I will do the best I can to show up.

Counting that its on a weekend (which I think it is) then I should have no problem getting there, otherwise I can utilize 2 modes of transit, my bike and the bus. Are there any biketrails around there or anything that would somehow disable me from this route of transportation?

Question: Does anyone know if there are any cafes around that area. I mean like lattes etc. Just wondering. (Vegitarian, dont really eat fast food.)

Yeah, there is a Starbucks, a Caribou, a Bagel place, a Chipotle. Let me know if those places don't work, there are others, but thats just what I can think of off the top of my head.

Okay, it sounds like you guys are pretty serious about getting there, which I like.

I'm guessing either you're all too young or too apathetic or too republican to care about the Convention.
Which is good. The more, the merrier. : o)

My Facebook group has 2 officially attending and 16 maybes. I'm guessing 4 of those maybes will go to yeses as the time draws nearer.

Once we get into March I'll start asking people to make their attendance official, but of course if you want to do that now -- even better.

EDIT: Also, Carrtoon is now on the list (he PM'd me).

Mark me down as "officially" coming. I just booked the hotel just a few miles from the site. The only way I will miss this is if I die before March 15th, or maybe on the way there. Hopefully no speeding tickets on the way up there this year either.

Wow, I'm surprised you got a hold of Carrtoon. He wasn't joking when he said he wasn't going to post much anymore. Good to see that he is coming. I wonder if he has any new things to show us.

By the war I will also have my +bow completed, so watch out. I'm pretty close to finishing it, just need some extra free time.

Not to hijack this thread or anything, if anyone is willing to come down for the Ohio war, I am interested in carpooling. PM me if you are interested.

I'm looking forward to seeing all you guys again. I haven't really nerfed with anyone since I came up there. Looks like it is going to be a great turnout.

Ryan, what was the name of the hotel you booked?

I've been talking with Carrtoon for the past 2 weeks or so. We are both really pumped for this war. He'll have some new stuff, but I'll wait for him to elaborate.

+bow! Muthafucka! Well, I'm jealous.

I'm almost a for sure officially coming.

Still not quite sure. If I come I can film it, I have a pretty good camera. I should really get to work on my guns.

I can take some stills...I have a nice SLR we can take some pictures with.

I booked the Red Roof Inn...Not the nicest hotel, but it's only $36 a night!

It's in Burnsville, about a 20 minute drive from the place. I was going to stay with my uncle but he lives all the way in Winsted.

Okay, I moved Ryan and Messiah to the official's list.

Sam... you should really make this one... since the date is for you. : o)

Well dang, you're all talking about the guns you'll be bringing... I should probably get some new ones up then. : o`

I'll be there, I'm just not sure to what degree. I may be a little bit late, or have to leave a little early, but I'll be there.

I think I could mount my Hi-8 recorder on P.I.T.A. again, that would be far out.

Uniform:
BDU
ACU PC
Two-fold Gloves
ACU boots
Jeans

Arms:
2x Cs-6
1x Cs-6R
1x NF
Ammo:
44x Streamline
3x Suckers
7x Glowdarts

My darts have Blue, Black, And Red, in that order, it's on every one of them.
also, my friend might come as well, he's showing an interest...

Oh yea, I forgot to mention in my last post, I'll be bringing my camera which has filming capabilities. I'm a little attached to it though so I may not let others use it. Sorry. I'll still share the pictures.

If we get enough video I may edit them all together. Every other big war has a video... why not ours? : oD

I thought I was going to be in charge of editing/filming. But since you will more likely show up than me you can do it. Should I still bring my camera if I come?

I'll also bring my camera with filming capabilities. Everyone should just bring one that way you don't have to worry about someone else using your stuff.

Messiah, your probably going to want to make stefans/get more darts. 54 stock darts probably isn't going to be enough.

Speaking of darts, how many Stefans should I bring to the war? It is likely I will use my RF20 or MS, so I will probably need to have more that in mind.

I usually bring 100-120, but I don't use any automatics, so you'll probably need more. I do have a decent amount of stefans that fit well in CPVC that I would be willing to sell fairly cheaply. Make some stefans for yourself, and then if you need more I can sell you some.

I think I made 150 last year and lost about 40% of them...

It's better to have a lot of darts because picking up darts in between every round is a pain in the ass.

I don't care who's in charge of editing the video together, as long as it gets done and done well. You are more than welcome to do it, but if it's a piece of crap then I may do something else on my own. Sam had a good point -- let's just all bring our own cameras and pool the content together afterwards.

I have to agree with Ryan... let's not do dart pickups every round. Bring enough to last at least 5 rounds, and it would be really nice if we could just do a pickup during lunch and at the end.

Consider this my RSVP for myself and at least one other, granted none of the unfortunate situations I mentioned earlier does not occur. We should be there with bells on. Hopefully the weather will shape up completely and make for a nice day.
