I give you Cerberus ladies and gents

Posted Image

The main gun is that fairly new diskshot blaster. It's Ar's were removed, spring replaced with an SM500 spring and the longshot frontgun spring (I know what you're thinking, shut up.), barrel replaced with 3.5 inches of cpvc pipe, and the insides were reinforced with hot glue. It can hit ranges of about 60-70 flat and 80-90 angled.

As you can see, there's a little something else on the outside of the diskshot. That's right, I integrated an SSPB with Ar's removed and a cpvc barrel on the outside.

I might do a full wright-up on this but I dont have many good pics to do so.

Questions, Comments?

The chances of one person taking a bomb on a plane are one in a million. The chances of two people taking a bomb on a plane are one in a trillion. So if you're scared of a terrorist attack, bring a bomb on a plane.

Nice! How accurate is the SSPB, and what ranges do you get with the SSPB?

Pretty nice looking, but what the hell is a SM500 spring? Those are air powered blasters.

Mt friend did that exact same mod only with a nitefinder. He put one secret shot and did an old edition nf spring replacement. But otherwise a good mod. But yeah, like sam said, how did you use an sm1500 [u]spring, it is an airpowerd gun.

After I read what you said, I went upstairs and looked at the gun. The name is not on the gun but it is an insanely old blue pistol with a green cocking slide on the top, the really old nerf logo, and in very small writing at the bottom it says LARAMI. A while back I saw somebody mod this gun and he called it an SM500. Oh well, sorry for the mix-up. But the spring I got from the "unkown gun" has a little more power than the diskshot spring.

I think that is an Airtech 1000. It has the same spring as a doubleshot.

Functional, I'm sure but 'integrations' usually mean something different than merely gluing one blaster to another (see NF-sspb integration).

Pretty cool, but I was wondering: Why do you call it Cerberus? Cerberus had three heads, your gin only has two barrels. What you could do to make it go along with the name is put another SSPB on the other side.

Just a suggestion.

If you want to call it cerberus, glue another sspb to the other side.

Also, cornman, If you were talkin' about that one nf I have, you have the wrong facts. <_<

If you Nerf in western washington, PM me

So you see a penguin walking down the street. Looks harmless right, so you keep on walking past him. You turn around to seem him walk away, only to find yourself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver.

Actually, I was once told on these boards that an integration could even basically be two guns duct-taped together.

Cornman, just hush up about it. I did the mods on that gun. I carved out the insides of it, I used a cpvc coupler, and I didn't do anything to the spring. Got it? <_<

No, I mean that other one you brought to school that day, remember? It may have been the one with the cpvc coupler but I know you said something about a spring replacement. now, lets quit wasting space on a topic.

Alright guys. Today at KOHLS they are having a 50% off sale for Black Friday. I'm going to get an AT2k twin pack and a couple more sspb's. When I get home, I am intsantly modding a couple of the sspbs. Then I'm going to integrate another one to the other side of my diskshot and it will truly be worthy of the name. I'll hopefully post pictures later up when I finish it.

Here it is

I agree with you forsaken angel, but hey, I'm pretty damn new.

Usually when I see guns with names,

They are usually:
An advanced modification
Have a history
An amazing paint job
All of the above.

For example:

Arachnophobia
Doomsayer
Jaws
Eyes Of Fire
Sicklefin Devil Ray (Still one of my personal favorites)
Guru
Roses judgment
Fucking Pecan
Volley Titan

and the many other qualified guns to have names.

So before I opened up this thread to see Cerberus, I was very excited.

When I opened the thread however, I was kinda let down.

Posted Image

It was then that I learned it was just a barrel replaced, weaker spring addition, sspb glued to the side kind of mod.

Good first mod and I am glad you like your gun but I wouldn't exactly say she is worthy of a name.
Hell I could take the shell off a rapid fire 20 and call it "Weapon of mass destruction" but its not really a good mod because I just showed you that you can take the shell off and come up with a good name.

For the record, if anyone else is planning on using Cerberus as their guns name and it is a good Modification with write up it will be going in the mods directory as "Cerberus".

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.
