A lot of it is about lurking and reading past guns made, understanding exactly how they work, what works and what doesn't, commonly used techniques, ect. After that, before replying to a thread, think on it for a while. Imagining what you would do to improve it if they were your gun helps me give good suggestions, as well as thinking of alternate ways to do the same thing. Post limit...TBC
