The mod found here at nerfhaven is pretty good, but its rather diffucult to keep the barrel steady. If you have the materials, this should be very easy.

I started out by cutting out the unneeded part of the casing, which allows for easier loading.


Now grab about 5-6" of schd. 40 pvc (1/2")


And about 4" of class 200 1/2" pvc


Connect them with a 1/2" pvc coupler


Now add some masking tape to the bottom of the barrel to keep the removable barrel tight


Load your micro stock or stefan


Slap on your barrel, the Class 200 1/2" pvc will slip over the stock barrel. The dart will travel directly into the schd. 40 from the stock barrel if you did this correctly. You can remove this barrel to shoot the x-stream rockets.


The range average is about 95' but it can break 100'. This was impressive, but thats not the reason why I love this gun. It's the accuracy. The extended barrel provides quite the pin-point shot and this thing is my new primary.

Nice mod. I like how you can still shoot the X-Stream rockets - one reason I usually don't mod my guns that shoot larger ammo.

What do you mean by regular 1/2" PVC?

well for some reason, my menards carries pvc with pink lettering. It is 1/2" diameter measuring from the outside edges, but the inside diameter is larger than schd. 40 pvc would normally be. If you can't find any in your area, you can always purchase some from me.

Nice mod but with mine I just opened it up and cut the front about 2/3 of an inch off the barrol it gets about 100 feet with 1/2 inch stefans. And can still shoot the big rocket.

His shoots mega Stefans (made of 5/8" foam) though. I personally like megas better.

If the ID is larger than 1/2" SCH40 would be (5/8") then the OD must be greater than 1/2".

Nice mod, it reminds me of the titan reduce mod and also did you plug pump for it to reach 95' ,and was it angled?

Nice mod fairly simple and easy, and great ranges. I bet a micro could get a good 110'.

No I did not plug the pump, and yes that was a level shot.

I'm sorry I don't have any more info but the side simply reads 1/2" pvc in pink lettering, while my other one reads, schd. 40 1/2" pvc in blue lettering

Nice clean mod. I've been meaning to pick one of these bad boys up, and for just ten bucks it seems like a great deal. The only thing I don't like is having the pump in the back like the Titan.

I see what you're saying, but it fits in the coupler...I'm baffled.

No worries, as already mentioned by WEASEL it's cl200 PVC which is lower pressure rating so it's got a larger ID but the same OD. Not particularly useful as a barrel, but it might be good for structural support (like this) in other mod situations. I'll have to keep it in mind.

Hey arcanum. Could you possibly help me out on this mod this weekend. I ran into a problem. I kinda cut too close to the trigger so i might need your help. And i need the PVC and all that stuff. Maybe after the ht. Thanks
