Hey Drax, 1/2in I.D. shaft collars are about a 1in 1/8th in outside dia. to big for the i.d. of the 3/4in. pvc I'm trying to fit. On larger dia. pvc you can use the 1/2in. shaft collar and no need for drilling. The washer fits the T just snug. I haven't had any prob of it moving around on me because its under constant pressure from the spring. I may put a drop of hot glue in there if need be but sofar no prob. Thanks for the question and if you have any others let them rip. Later, ModA few questions:
Wouldn't it just be easier to use a 1/2" ID shaft collar?
How do you get the washer in the tee, and what keeps it in place?

I'm just confused as to how the washer gets in the tee in the first place. No matter how I visualize this, you couldn't get the washer in there, since all 3 ports have the little ridge in them that I presume the washer is resting on, and if it was small enough to fit in, then it'd just get popped out the bottom. I dunno, odds are I'm just overthinking this.
