I should be able to make it. If it means anything, I would prefer Marymoor as it is much closer to me.

My attendance is a maybe right now, but I have some questions. First, what are the restrictions in the pistol round, max ranges, springer or air? Also, would a nat geo blaser with a RSCB be legal? I haven't done anything with the pump but I have a feeling that it just doesn't have an OPV.

I really hope to make it, itchin' for some foam flingin'.

I figured we'd do a mix of both with the 100 range limit and then just do a springer round. I have no problem with an Nat Geo RSCB as long as its within the range limit. I know mine gets 120' using an RSCB.

I'm in if I can get a car, which has never been a problem before. I estimate 1-2 others from the club on campus, depending on how many are buckling down for finals.

Awesome Hilt. Out of curiosity does your group use stefans or is it all stock darts?

All stock darts. We used to use stefans, but then they got banned at Kinzie, and stock darts shoot far enough for the gym we play in... so stock darts. I suppose we need to mark them.

Ok. I'm just trying to see how many darts to bring with me. I said that you and your group could use some of my blaster if you needed to, and my blaster don't really use the stock darts too well.
I also talk to one of my guests and he said that he might get some people to come.

The NatGeo and RotoRockets DO have an OPRV, so there is a max pressure on them. Surprisingly, there is a minimum, as well. You have to pump them at least ten times, or they will not shoot. The OPRVs generally engage around 25 pumps, which is sufficient to launch a ball about 50 feet.

I wish I could make it to this war, but Sundays in Washington are unlikely to work for me ever. Saturdays, maybe.

I'll be there, but unfortunately just me. My friend will be up in Alaska that day, so no go for him. Oh well, come June dates will be a lot more flexible.
Edit* Oh, by the way, what's the plan for lunch? I've got a couple things that I can't eat and would probably want to know what's being served, or if we should just bring food.

Food is very rarely served at nerf wars. Bring a lunch if it's at Magnuson. At Marymoore there's a Subway, so you could bring money if it's there (*crosses fingers it isn't*).

Ok update.

Magnuson Park is out. I could not find a good place to play. Looks like we have to go to Marrymore. Can you guys still make it if its there? Or do you guys have another park in mind? I'd really appreciate some input on this because I really want everyone to make it.

Broderick: We all bring are own lunches with us.

The problem is not that it's a bad idea; the problem is that I've no intention of reading them.

Sorry to hear that. We spent a long time at Magnuson looking for a place to play and we even talked to a park person and she said the only place that is not heavily populated is a bad place that we couldn't even run through.

I have no problem with doomsayers. Also we'll be meeting/playing around the windmill area.
On a side note Merrymore park does require you to pay 1 or 2 bucks to park.

Alright, good to know; the Marymoore war I went to last year didn't have food, but the Kinzie war last November had Sandwich fixings. ?
Hopefully I can get my Quadshot all ready to go by Sunday.

I now have 4 including myself, and a potential fifth.

I've never been to Marymoore before so I don't know of any "windmill area." Weird. No, just kidding... perhaps someone could post the coordinates, please? A search of Google's satellite map was unfruitful.

Dayko, I'm usually pretty good with finding my way around, but could you please PM me your cell # just in case? Thanks.

If anyone wants to buy a +bow, they are at a negotiable $85. Please PM me beforehand. Also, I'm interested in a stock or lightly modded Quad/Triple Shot or RFDG if anyone has one.
