This game is a heck of a lot better than the previous. The melee weapons are absolutely fantastic, the campaigns are a lot more diverse, and there are a lot more guns. I don't think it is worth a buy because of the limited game play, but I definitely recommend renting if you liked the original.

Its alot larger of a game. Combat actually has strategy, rather then "Grab a gun, beat a level, get a second teir gun, beat more"

Oh, and the first campaign has you rescuing soda for a gun store owner. You will never hate Cola more in your life

Yeah, and in this the end levels of the campaign are actually different from each other. In the previous, you would just sit and wait for the rescue vehicle. In these, you have to do stuff. For example, In the last level of Dead Center you have to go find gas to fill up a car.

This is gonna be the last game specific thread for a while. I let MW2 go because it was a huge launch. This game is not going to be as big and as such probably doesn't warrant it's own thread. So I'll let it go to be fair, but after that we need to remember that off topic does not equal gaming.

I understand that sentiment, but what else do us Nerfing Nerds do other then game? A "Best sex you've ever had?" thread wouldn't get to many replies now would it?

I do understand what you are saying. November has been probably the WORST possible gaming month ever. We got MW2 on the 11th, and then less then a week later, L4D2 AND Assassins Creed 2 on the same day. Probably some others, but I can't think of them.

I think those were the only 3 major releases, because they are very advertised in the media. But it was kind of stupid on both Valve's and whatever company made Assassin's Creed 2 to release them on the same day, as sales for them will most likely suffer for it.
