My bolt sled cracked a few months ago, and I just decided to single the Longshot a few weeks ago. I've been tinkering with it mildly, but when I got back from Big Lots yesterday I decided to integrate one of my 3 new AT2Ks into the front gun shell. The shell was already integrated with its internals, and I didn't feel like tearing it all out. It acts as protection for the AT2K barrel, so I like it.

This really isn't a write up, more of what a "This is how I did it" type of thing. I may be making a write up if I decide to make a copy of this gun.

Internal shot. I cut the pump head off, and hot glued it to a metal rod I had laying around. The rod already had a hole drilled in it that fit the rod from the yellow grip from the front gun. I took that rod, and hot glued it to the bolt handle, so when you push the bolt handle back and forth, you pump the gun.


You can see the wire connecting the firing pin to little orange ring (orange ring not visible)

I hot glued the yellow grip to the sidearm for looks, and for something to hold. It's quite comfortable.


I took the little bar from the yellow grip of the front gun, and hot glued it onto the bolt handle of the Longshot. It doesn't reach out on both sides, so there is only on handle. It's still pretty easy to pump.

Questions or comments? This seems like something that would have been done when the Longshot came out, but I couldn't find anything here on Nerf Haven.

I know I didn't take enough pictures, but if you want me to clarify how it works, I'll try my best.

Ranges These are a little inconsistent because of my darts, not because of the blasters.

Not the best singled AT3K distances I've ever seen, but I guess this is another thing to do if your boltsled breaks beyond repair or if heritcorps shotgun mod is out of reach.

I like the idea of using the charging handle to pump the 3K, its not original, but its never been used in a LS as far as i know.

Longshot Wielder: I don't know what you mean by puking, but it doesn't look too bad. I just got a Dremel for my birthday so it is pretty clean cut, other than the integration of the front gun shell (I didn't have a Dremel when I did it). I don't use WD-40 on my Nerf guns, that is just on my desk...

Soothsayer: I didn't exaggerate the range at all, and all my ranges are low. So I don't know if it's how I measure, my Stefans, or I just can't get anything air tight. When I measure a stock gun distance, it's usually 5-10 feet lower than other peoples, so maybe I'm shooting down instead of flat, haha.

This is an old topic that recently got necro'd, avoid posting in threads like this. An AT2K is an AirTech2000.

I won't mind if this thread gets locked, nothing else can really be added to it other than pointless necros.
