In this mod i am going to show you how to mod your reactor.
First off this gun sucks. This mod just makes it suck less. Do not criticize me on how this mod barely increases range. OK well lets get started!

First grab your materials:
Pliers
Favored cutting tool
Drill with Drill attachments
Fillips screwdriver
Reactor

Here is your Reactor completely stock.

Open it up with your Fillips screwdriver it should look like this:

Now take out the barrel.

Then lets take a look at the front.

Now with your pliers pinch the ball pusher and use your favored cutting tool to cut of the cross like thing in the middle. It should nw look like this:

Now lets work on the back of the barrel.

Your drill and drill the cross in the center out. now it should look like this:

Now your preety much done all that is left is to put it all back together. Here is a pic of the internals if you get confused about where every thing goes.

Screw it all together and your good to go.
Now go play with some balls!

Who thinks I should sigg that? But good mod.. I see most modded reactors have like CPVC stuck in them or something, so they can shoot darts. This thing sucks balls, so why would people make it fire darts? Keep it firing balls.

I too would like to know the before and after ranges. You can also add E-tape to the muzzle of the reactor to increase pressure and range.
Good thinking on removing those air restrictors, I didn't think that they would affect it that much, but I guess they do.

Ranges are probably around 15-20 feet.

Edit: I don't really care how bad this gun's ranges are because, the only thing that matters is ambushing people with your balls and not getting banned from the war.

I'm sure there are people that'd be damned good with a reactor in a war situation, even if it does only fire 15-20 feet; you can pump those balls out quite fast.

Because it triples the range and isn't a bad gun when it's firing a usable type of ammo.

True that, and it's so fun to play with even though it isn't very great.
I think I'll try to make it hold more balls for some real action.

What were the ranges in the beginning?

Probably around 5-10 feet.

In the words of Captain, if a gun shoot balls, it sucks them. It is a good mod, that increased the firepower of the gun greatly, and props for doing that, but I still hate ball guns, and never will like them.

Yea, they suck... unless you have nothing to compare it to. I remember I got a reactor and a NF a long time ago and that reactor was the funnest thing ever.

Chuck Norris can make a range shot with a Ballzooka.
