#104107 Titan Help

Posted by PointBlank on 05 May 2007 - 08:25 PM in Modifications

Ok. First off I know that this has been posted about but it was a long time ago and it wasnt good help for me.

Everything was fine with my titan until one day when I attempted to take the orange part of the barral off to put the dart in and it wouldnt come off. I know that the cause of this is the child safty lock but I cant figure out how exactly to unlock it. I know that it has something to do with pulling while I twist but i need something more specific.

Any help would be apreciated, thank you!

#105304 Bbb Problem

Posted by PointBlank on 13 May 2007 - 07:48 PM in Modifications

There is a white air restrictor, it isn't vital, but itshould still be in there, also make sure that your plunger isn't upside down (as in not being able to catch, or catching very slightly). I doubt that is your problem, but just check. also, be SURE that the plunger head (not the plunger itself) isn't upside down. It should be sort of cupping the sides of the wall.
If this side of my post is the front of the gun, it should be like this >----
not like this <-----
Edit: Ok, nevermind you fixed it.

Do you realy need the air restrictor? I took mine out and it works just fine.

#225323 Question?

Posted by PointBlank on 23 April 2009 - 05:39 PM in Off Topic

First, you are going to need an image storing website. Like this. Upload your images there. Then, when you are posting something, you will see a little icon that looks like a globe on top of a chain located right above where you are typing your message. I hope this helped, if it didn't, I will re-explain in greater detail.

I know exactly how you feel. The first few months on this website I had no idea either.

Well, in my experience, brass works a heck of a lot better than coper. I use a 9/16" 4" barrel and it works marvelously.

#227514 Plug Help

Posted by PointBlank on 01 May 2009 - 06:02 PM in Modifications

Epoxy is good because it is very permanent and you never have to worry about it again. I also like tape for some guns because it is reversible. If it is working for you, then you really don't need to change anything. They both function at equal levels.

Yes, I did go to the store to select which size to buy.

#138965 Pvc Trouble

Posted by PointBlank on 06 February 2008 - 04:24 PM in Modifications

Today I bought a brand new night finder and began thinking of mods to do to it. I decided on building a bigger plunger tube out of PVC. I thought of using 3/4" PVC because it was comparable in size with the stock plunger tube. Because I don't even know were to begin on making my own plunger mechanism I plan on extending the length of the stock one and using the stock plunger head. The only problem is that the plunger head just barely doesn't fit into the PVC. What I need help on is a way to expand the inside diameter of the PVC evenly so that the plunger can move through snuggly.

Any input would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
-PointBlank

Embedding videos? Is that when the video appears as a pic? and is it is how can I transfer my videos from PhotoBucket to YouTube?

I think he means so that you can watch the video right there on the post. People do it in blogs all the time.

#226700 Stefan Dart Tutorial Video

I like how you took it slow and used good quality video. Easy to understand and follow. However, I think you should have used a ruler to measure out your darts. It's more professional.

#105958 I Need Help!

Posted by PointBlank on 16 May 2007 - 07:10 PM in Modifications

Again, it'll be hard to fashion one for yourself, unless you know what you're doing. I'd say, try sheet metal if you want to make your own, that's the only thing I can think of. Also, if you really need some pics of a non-broken one, I'll take pics of my extra one for you.

Thanks. By the way, do you think that a nf catch would work?

#105912 I Need Help!

Posted by PointBlank on 16 May 2007 - 04:40 PM in Modifications

Yah I guess I should just buy another one.

You're not making sense here, if you're talking about buying another TTG.

You come to the Haven, seeking help for your broken TTG.

You clearly state the problem.

Another member of the community offers a part to replace and repair your blaster, for (obviously) less money than a TTG.

You refuse and choose instead to spend more money looking for another TTG.

That's what this community exists for, when it comes to getting blasters back up and running. Were you expecting a freebie or something? People gotta recoup some dough for their broken guns.

If you decide to just get another TTG, don't forget to keep your parts around. You never know who may need something.

-Piney-

I am sorry for being un clear. In my post i was looking for a way to fix my gun, I am just not interested in buying off the internet. I was just wondering if any one had any ideas.
