Direct Threat, those are some awesome paintjobs. But why don't you try not weathering it (sanding it down and stuff) for once..?

Enigma is a armor from Diablo 2 also.

Jah + Ith + Ber = Enigma
+1 Skill Armor

Right?

At first I just cut off the foregrip and the front scope with a knife. When I went to cock it I realized it was extemely hard to because my hand would constantly slip. I then cut the front and bottom piece off of the fore grip and glued the remaining piece on to the old spodt but backward so it gave the side of my hand something to grip onto. Here is a close up of the new foregrip type of thing.

I was going to do that but I stopped because my damn BBB is messing up... Read my thread for more info. I think I may buy another one and just remove the air restrictors by cutting off the orange thing and couplering it... unfortuneatly the $15 CANADIAN BBB sale at TRU ended a few weeks ago. Damn.

EDIT: Sorry it was regular price $20 and on sale $15.

This was my 1st and only NF. The fact that's it's still in mostly one piece is nothing short of a miracle since I've taken it apart and re-assembled it ... over 10 times.
I've breeched it only for the looks because my friend requested it. It does not have a good seal because I don't have the proper tubes so it doesn't really work.... but luckily for me, my friend didn't ask for a "working" clipped NF.

Please b00m13! Make a write-up. I really want to know how to make a clippable nitefinder.

#130205 Homemades Picture Thread

Posted by six-five-two on 19 November 2007 - 08:29 PM in Homemades

After reading the FAR homemade writeup and seeing the trobles with the bolts getting pushed up into the gun
I was wondering if you had a "upside down gun" as in the magazine would be going down into the gun would that solve any poblems? make new ones? plz answer
- N=MC2

Again, sorry to backseat mod a bit, but please fix your spelling and grammar.

The concept you are describing is a gravity clip. It works fine as long as you have a weight at the top to prevent the darts from moving around and to push it into the chamber. It may flip around if you turn the gravity clip upside-down.
Boltsniper made this for one of his guns aswell:

Video of my dartsmithing method:
Took me long enough to get around to making one.

Nice video! Except the music sounds like the stuff you hear in elevators.

If I'm playing anywhere, I use red foam.

And do you just paint the back ends of your darts, or the whole body?

The whole body because if the part that you painted is faceing the floor then ya wont see it.

Then wouldn't it turn hard as a fucking rock? Post some pictures of them.

If your playing in the sand paint youre darts black
If your playing in the woods paint your darts a bright hunter orange.
If your playing in a house then i recommend glow in the dark paint so that you just turn the lights off and see
em.
If your playing on grass paint them white.

It's all i have to say.

And how exactly do you paint them?

My darts are 1 1/2" long. I shot it out of my BBB that was couplered. 5 feet away. My house is 9 years old though.

If your foam is to big for CPVC try 1/2 in. PEX that stuff fits my larger foam great.

I think I already tried and it didnt fit. I haven't made much stefans lately because I really suck ass at it. I bought some el cheapo hot glue gun at a dollar store... low temp like what you guys said. But it really sucks...

The el cheapo dollar store one is "10 W/120 V"
The old one I have that is broken is "AC100 V"

Which one is a low temp one?

Alot of people here seeem to get their FBR in packages... at my local Rona in Canada, they sell it by the foot. It is like 6-8 cents (CAD) for 1/2" FBR. It is pretty good but it is too fat for CPVC.

#93229 Dartsmithing Tips Archive

Posted by six-five-two on 29 October 2006 - 01:48 AM in Darts and Barrels

I need help with my darts. I am using #8x5/8 screws into my foam. I used a sharpie to dot the middle then hand screwed it in and made it tighter with a screwdriver, then finally added a felt tip. The problem is, I can't get it to be centered so now the darts fly weird... and they are 5-10feet less distance than a dart tag dart.

#93291 Dartsmithing Tips Archive

Posted by six-five-two on 29 October 2006 - 07:43 PM in Darts and Barrels

I am not going to shoot these darts out of high velocity guns like Titans, etc... I dont think it would be a problem. The felt tip is holding it in place.

#93319 Dartsmithing Tips Archive

Posted by six-five-two on 29 October 2006 - 10:41 PM in Darts and Barrels

The screws are 5/8's long. I screw them in with my hand then use a screwdriver to make it as tight as it can be. Then I add a felt tip for safety. I found out today that if I shoot them close range out of a BBB, it will make a slight dent in the wall... So I am still searching for a safe, fast, cheap, good safedart. I have tried Ruffstuff Safe Darts, Foam tipped darts, Stefans with felt tip and a few others... it seems that I will never find a good safe dart...

#96534 Nerf Shotgun

I am thinking of making my own shotty, but I don't know. All my homemades so far have failed. And I have still in the design phase of the ejector problem.. I also would make my shotty use a 1 1/4" rubber washer plunger instead of a o-ring. And I know it won't make the gun as awesome, but has anyone considered not having shells? It would be hella easier except it won't look all that realistic. But think about it:

With shells:
Pros
-Awesome
-More realistic

Cons
-Hard to make ejector system

Without shells:
Pros:
-Way easier to make

Cons
-Not as cool
-Bullets in tube clip may mess up somehow.

Ronster that lego gear thing looks cool... And Pineapple, I havent set out a timetable yet because I am still in design phase... Some nerf guns I designed but never got to making it.. I am still having trouble with my design though. The problem is that the tube mag on the top going to the breech is going to be hard. I am going for a no shell design because shells and ejectors and picking them up, etc. are a pain in the ass. So now I am going to use regular 1/2 stefan darts. I want to make the plunger 1 1/4" wide. So the whole pipe will be 1 1/4" diameter, except there is a giant gap between the brass and the 1 1/4" PVC. So if a dart drops into the brass, another dart will go ontop of the breech. The problem is that I have a breech of 1" to 1/2" Coupler to 1/2" PVC, so if I load a dart in, and close the big breech, the dart in the middle (between the tube and the breech) will be smushed by the breech closing. So that's the problem with my shotgun design so far... Other than that I think I can start building it sometime soon.

This is one of my favourite homemade nerf guns on this forum... except there isnt that much details on the gun or schematics for it.

Yeah you can find slingshot weights at any sports/fishing/walmart store

So you prefer PETG over brass right? And I should not buy 1/2" PETG but buy 9/16"?

How much is PETG?

I just said previously that Captain Slug needs to start finishing his projects, if not why bother posting, all of his ideas, has he ever actually finished something? Oh, besides the Longshot cocking arm I think not.

Good point. I hope he finishes his C.S.H.G soon... And his longshot shotgun kits were a success. So he did finish atleast 1 homemade. Oh, and he made those washer darts.

1/2" I suppose...

Kindly shut it. I don't need anyone to answer questions for me. Let alone in a flippant and unhelpful manner.

Sorry for the minor de-railing, but I couldn't help it...

SHUTTTT DOWNNNNNNNNNNNN

Back on topic, CS I bet you can make quite a bit of those if you sell it auction style on eBay, didn't someone's modded Longshot (was it FA_24?) that sold for $200 or so? I bet you can sell your +bows for atleast $200.

All of the parts will be painted once the gun is complete.

I think the clear pieces look cool, so people can kinda see how it goes together.
I dunno, just my opinion.

I agree with you aswell.

#126607 Abp5k

Do you think in the future it would be possible to create kits with all the parts in it?

They would be crazy expensive. It's $65 in supplies and thye take a good deal of time to make.

$65! I thought it would be a bit more...

#126747 Abp5k
